So we're getting Wave 6 at the end of February? You don't say! It is just as I have foreseen...
Speaking as a retailer, my distribution channels are still rather murky. Our local distributor is showing that the release date as "January" with no date attached, but that pre-order cutoffs aren't until January 28th. Typically with this distributor, pre-orders are cut at least two weeks before the product actually arrives.
My other distributor isn't even going that far with the order dates. I imagine we'll have a better idea of when Wave 6 will be released by the end of January, but I'm doubtful that it will release by the end of January.
I think your report makes more sense. Wave 6 got on the boat in mid-December, which puts it on pace to arrive in stores mid-February or late February. Anything earlier than, say, Feb. 13 would be surprising.

I'm not sure why I've seen people start to use that title now (or maybe it's just you),especially since there already existed as viable and popular options of Fel at 35 points. TC+Hull or TC+Stealth both with PTL.
I think that whether we see the hull/stealth option becomes better may depend on how much authothrusters pushes builds like decivader...I think MajorJuggler seems to think that hull will be better long term, so it will be interesting to see where it goes.

I don't get why people are so excited for this - it's not like scum are a new thing; Rebel scum have been around since the game started...
(kidding aside, I'm excited, too. The Starviper is everything I want in a 25-point PS1 generic - 3/3/4/1, small base, all of the 1-speed maneuvers...)

I also have my two Firesprays painted (Kath and Emon style) and ready to Scum it up with them. I also intend to paint those Z-95s in the Binayre Pirate style.

I had reservations about fielding Firesprays in the Empire because their pilot abilities are rubbish. I still do though.
Yeah, I also had reservations. However, that's where headcanon comes in. I like to think of them as 'civilian contractors'... kind of like Blackwater. 
HNN will soon be reporting on those civilian contractors have 'gone bad' and decided to set up shop for themselves in the Arkanis Sector.
