After reading about the various builds being built for the Deci/phantom combos,its seems the choices for 'must have' cards on these ships are thus: Expose/EI or Pred/EU. Both are great combos.However, how about combining elements of both?

Now most you here have probably considered this view yourselves,However, I read quite aways back in the posts and don't recall seeing it mentioned.Anyway, heres the poop.

I've tested this list a few times and with Whisper being Whisper, the Adm is a nasty piece of work. With the Adm's pilot abilily, 4 dice at range 2 and 5 dice at range 1, Expose(action) turns the Adm into Whispers Mom! The Title acts as kind of a semi EI, even if you bump into enemy swine during your movement.Its costs you a stress of course, your dealin out the stress too so *** for tat right? if anything, list is alot of fun to fly

The problem with Expose is that it is worse than TL.

Expose adds 1 red dice - averages to 0.5 Hits.

TL/Focus both improve hit rate by 50%. 3 Dice average 1.5 hits, 2.25 with either focus or TL. That adds 0.75 hits.

You should never Expose when you can TL instead. Expose only works with EI because you can both add a Dice and TL. With Expose and EU you are adding two actions one of which is inferior to an action you already possess, and you can only ever take a single action per turn.

If you drop EU then Expose might see some limited use on a turn that your dice are so good you don't use your TL. Since the Decimator has a turret primary it will always have the opportunity to attack so it isn't even like a normal firing arc ship where you might have the opportunity to prep for an attack you can't make this turn.

Your right of course, I try to target lock at range 3 the turn before moving in that way the use of expose is not so "filnal' an action as it were. you make a good point however.

RAC w/ Title, Expose, Rebel captive, EI

Whisper w/VI , FCS, ACD, Tactician

I kinda want to deal out the pain and stress. Also, do you think the Title is redundant being similar to EI?
