"LIGHTING THE FLAMES OF WAR"

Striking from a hidden base, a small Rebel Alliance strike force attacked Naboo. A squad of X-wings unexpectedly came up against a VT-49 Decimator, while the small squad of Y-wings found themselves facing off against a squad of TIE Interceptors. Living up to its name, the Decimator made short work of the X-wings. The Y-wings were able to use their ion cannon turrets to great effect against the TIE Interceptors. However, with the Decimator still in the system the Y-wings left, and Naboo remained under the control of the Empire.

Tracking the Rebels back to the system of Dantooine, the Empire sent a small task force of the Decimator and a TIE Defender. The Decimator took on the Y-wings, but the heavy fighters were able to complete disable the gunship with their ion cannon turrets. Meanwhile the TIE Defender faced off against an YT-2400. The TIE Defender was able to destroy the light freighter, but fled the approaching Y-wings that took out its heavy support. It meant the Empire wasn't able to eliminate the Rebel base in the Dantooine, but now they know it is there. At some point, the Empire will be back.

While the Empire and Rebels were busy with each other, the Hutt Cartels sent out forces to try and seize control of Ryloth so they could increase their Spice production. The Cartels sent out a heavily armed YT-2400 and a squad consisting of an X-wing and a Y-wing. They found the Ryloth system guarded by a small squadron that was made up of a TIE Fighter, a TIE Interceptor, and a TIE Defender. Feeling brave, the TIE Defender took on the two cartel fighters... a decision that did not work out well for the TIE Defender. The other Imperial fighters rushed the YT-2400, and in doing so the TIE Fighter was taken out by the heavy laser fire coming from the modified light freighter. However, the TIE Interceptor got inside the freighter's defenses and was able to take it out. With their freighter gone, the Cartel forces fell back, leaving Ryloth under Empire control.

But this is only the beginning. Who will control the galaxy when it is all over?
