BBE store champs list

By Castellan Alaric, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So I was wanting to take a Han + Fringer list for store champs, and that is still in contention, but I just beat a Han/Fringer list with a BBE list and it was a blast! 3 ships throwing 12 dice at range 1 is pretty ridiculous! So here was the list I ran and then after I'll tell you what I'm going to do for next game to alter it.

Dagger - E2/Tactician, Adv Sensors

Dagger - E2/Tactician, Adv Sensors

Blackmoon - Hull upgrade, R2-D2, Adv Sensors

Adv Sensors saved my bacon more than once, and I could have killed Han quicker if I'd have remembered to focus before a K-turn with my E-wing. Getting in range 1 of the Fringer with my E and a B, with the other at range 2 - I put 8 damage on it in one volley - I've been working on keeping focus up for offense, but I realize a TL is what to use when going for the "kill". I figured if I could use the focus for defense against han and if it was there after his shot, then gravy.

Now, here is my new idea.

Corran Horn - R2-D2, VI, Adv Sensors

Blue - E2/Tactician, Adv Sensors

Blue - E2/Tactician, Adv Sensors

So I am at 99 points still for an initiative bid, and with PS10 then down to 2 I'm able to block and shoot before phantoms. Fat han will have his shot first, but I'm more worried about the phantom personally. I toyed with the idea of PtL or expert handling with EI to boost and then barrel roll. Anywho - I'd like y'all's thoughts on the Corran idea and my dagger/blackmoon generic list. It was a blast to fly!

I've been flying variations of this list fir a little while, I like it a lot!

Corran's daggers (100/100)

=========================

E-Wing: Corran Horn (35 + 11)

+ Veteran Instincts (1)

+ R2-D2 (4)

+ Fire Control System (2)

+ Engine Upgrade (4)

B-wing: Dagger Squadron Pilot (24 + 3)

+ Ion Cannon (3)

B-wing: Dagger Squadron Pilot (24 + 3)

+ B-Wing/E2 (1)

+ Tactician (2)

Originally I was using blue squadron pilots, but figured it would be good to shoot before most other generics, I've beaten a couple different dash builds, lost to one dash, and defeated a 2x,z,e list so far with it,

I really like the EU on dash to help him get away/turn around while regenerating his shields

Warrior bungalow, have you flown that against any Imps? Like Alaric, my first thought was, What about Phantoms?

I think bungalow's point about EU is good one, and could help with getting behind phantoms. E-wing's have barrel roll naturally - so with PtL and EU it makes them very maneuverable. I'll probably try my list next and then switch to the PtL / EU build to try it out. With advanced sensors, it's kind of like have PtL for barrel roll/boost, you just have to do a 1-bank after an adv sensors BR lol With stay on target, I could shoot up quick and the slow roll to see where the pesky phantom was going to be and change my dial with adv sensors to keep my action. Double tap with corran should do the trick!

I appreciate the thoughts gents!

I put vi on Corran primarily for phantoms, and if I'm able to land a hit with ion or stress, so much the better!

But no, I haven't flown against phantoms yet

Yeah, I'm curious to hear how the PtL / EU build fares compared to your original Corran list.
