There's a decent variant posted on BGG, but I'd love to see an official expansion that automates the Imperials, a la Soda Pop's upcoming Super Dungeon Explore upgrade deck.

I would second this idea.

That being said, if people want this or 6-7 player expansion, it would be more to their benefit to send an e-mail to fantasy flight directly, instead of hoping some developer stumbles accross a post on the forum.
