Half a millimeter? Your cardboard templates are probably the problem, not your acrylics. Compare your cardboard to those of other players and you'll probably notice the inconsistencies.

You may be right on that point. I will have to compare them to others.

My main concern is that ships don't fit very snug on the nubs, and allows for that millimeter wobble. The cardboard templates fit nicely and don't allow for much movement. It's not a big deal to me, but I could see others being concerned.

Now that you mention it, there is the very slightest wiggle room fitting acrylics between the nubs. That sounds so dirty. But I've noticed it with all of the acrylics I've used.
