best way to run 2/3 Phantoms?

I'm not sure how competitive this will be in the current meta with twin big 360 ships being very common here, but I'd still like to give it a run. Which of the following do you prefer or do you have a different suggestion?

Whisper + VI + FCS + ACD

Echo + VI + FCS + ACD

Sabre Interceptor + PTL

Whisper + VI + FCS + ACD + R.Captive

Sigma + ACD

Sigma + ACD

Whisper + VI + FCS + ACD

Echo + VI + SP.Accelerator

Sigma + VI + SPA

You'll generally want your Phantoms to live as long as possible, while they do as much damage as possible.

Academy Pilot — TIE Fighter 12

Use the Academy as a blocker to set up kill-shots and take Evade on your Phantoms if threatened, let Gunner & FCS do the rest.

Honestly I've seen people just leave the academy out. They say that the tie is more of a liability than a help. By leaving it out your opponent doesn't get the 12 points for destroying your tie. You'll also always have choice on initiative.

It is wonderful for blocking and I do believe you'll get that choice very often, seeing as the list is 98pts as is.

But I do see your point.
