Good counters to Anti-Phantom builds?

Hey guys, was looking for some good suggestions for builds that counter the anti-phantom builds that go for super high ps, 9/10+. Any suggestions for imperial counters to such?

My sets are: base, tie, imp aces, lambda, 2x TA, Phantom

Get auto thrusters for your interceptors when they are released and run those. You can also use a fixed tie advanced like vader with them or a shuttle with fcs or whisper and evade all day withr fcs

I'm going with 4 Tie Bombers (including Jonus).

Which they normally won't.

Crazy how well the anti Phantom meta can also hamstring the incoming Super Interceptor squads.

In response to the OP;

Creating an action advantage for yourself using Carnor Jax or Captain Kagi to prevent Offensive Rebel actions is really the key. Taking away optimal actions or forcing inadequate ones enhances the survival of your ships (especially expensive Phantoms) beyond the first time they are in range of Rebel guns. Late game ships like Dark Curse can also make Rebel actions irrelevant forcing them to wait on a dice roll to slip through at the right moment.

I've had some success with this against Whisper/RAC builds:

3 x Blk Sqd all with Pred

2 x Blk Sqd Both with Outm

1 x Blk Sqd with DTF

rum them in small grps of 2 or 3 ships, scares the hell out of the natives

With your current selections it is rather difficult to build a relatively strong counter to Anti-Phantom builds.

If you are looking for anti-anti-Phantom I'm assuming that means you want a Phantom as you're list centerpiece while the rest would protect the Phantom.

If my assessment is correct I suggest Outmaneuver Interceptors. If you're opponent is chasing the Phantom then it's Flanks should be relatively easy to Outmaneuver.

On top of that you're purchasing for that upgrade comes with Imperial Makings (TIE Defender).

If they have blinders up and only see the Phantom as a threat then they're in a world of hurt once they realize you're actually just Baiting them..

Interesting ideas...never thought of just using a phantom as bait...gives me an idea... sigma phantom with recon specialist and stealth device and sensor jammer. Bait the other player into attacking the sigma. They'll think I will be trying to flank with the sigma, but in reality, im going to leave it cloaked and have it tank...and the rest of my list will come from behind with outmaneuver! Let me know what you think of this :

They wouldn't really have a good target. Either they take on the phantom and I can follow them with my space bovine and TA, or they attack my tankier guys, and the phantom will just go into range 1 and destroy. What do you think?
