Stress question

Soontir Fel - When you receive a stress token, assign one focus to your ship.

Equip with PTL

Perform round, I select Evade - now I can trigger PTL and lets say I boost, I get my stress and also a focus token.

So in combat phase, do I still have a Evade and Focus to use? Just next round I have to do a green to get rid of the stress before I can use PTL again?

Yes you have them until the end of the round or you use them.

Yes, but you need to get rid of that stress to use any action.

What's more, is that because Soontir's ability assigns a focus token when your stressed, it means you can perform a focus action for your Perform Action step or the PtL action and end up with two focus tokens (and a stress). And an Interceptor with a stress token is no big problem with the amount of green maneuvers it's got to choose from. Soontir with PtL is a sweet little combination.

Then again, Soontir without PTL is possibly the worst pilot ability.

Pretty far from the worst.

- focus when k-turning is sweet, and you negate most of the negative effects of rebel captive, tactician, Flechette Toros, or anything else that stresses.

Much better than a good number of pilots out there.

Push the Limit just adds to his already great flavour.

Opportunist. Stress yourself and gain a focus to use for the very same attack. I like PtL better, but there are quite a few combos where Fel earns his Bloodstripes.
