Here's something for large ships I'd like:
Sienar Technician (Crew; Imperial large ship only; unique)
2 Points
Once per turn, you may select one face-up damage card and roll dice accordingly to cancel its effect(s). This does not count as an action.

Why not:
Sienar Engineer (Crew; Imperial large ship only; limited)

Add a System Upgrade slot to your upgrade bar.
Hm, I like the card but wonder if it'd be more appropriate as a modification. Modifications typically allow for new upgrade slots / actions to be added. Say this example happened:
Decimator takes a Direct Hit. Moff JJ wants to throw the Sienar Engineer off the Decimator -- afterall, he was only recently placed in their squadron and really has no place. After he's discarded, would you be required to discard the System slot as well?

Hmmmm ... of course?
But... Wingman..."Soothing music"
Modification 1 point
Once per round, at the beginning of the combat phase, you may choose one friendly ship at within range 1. That ship may remove a stress token.
Edit: fine, I like your card name.
Wingman is a great card, but using it in the EPT slot of a pilot with a high enough PS to have an EPT slot is usually contraindicated. So instead it's a modification, and can compete with other modifications.
Between this and Autothrusters, though, Squints might be a bit too powerful.

Also, just realized an unintended consequence of a mod form of Wingman- you could have an entire swarm of TIEs doing basically a white K-Turn (no actions though). Crazy.
They do have to choose between the two, though, which takes a bit of the bite off.

Interceptors don't care - Royal Guard title lets them bring both.

This would be nice for low-PS Defenders operating as a pair. Maybe putting Howlrunner between them.
EPT:
Hunter
Cost: 2
When attacking a ship with a unique pilot or upgrade, you may reroll all blank results.
...Thoughts? Name needs work, I think.
Crew Card
Traitor
Cost 3
After set-up discard this card and replace it with a Crew card from an opposing ship.
Time to reprogram C-3P0 to work for the Empire, or get Luke to have a quiet chat with his father and convince him to help kill the Emperor.
-----
Modification Card
Under New Ownership
Cost 2
(Scum only)
Any ship with an unnamed pilot may be taken for a joyride by the Scum faction.
-----
Modification Card
Conscription
Cost 2
(Imperial only)
Any ship with an unnamed pilot may be pressed into service to the Empire.

Rebel Scum

(Rebels only)
Any ship with an unnamed pilot may join the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
What about Bothan crew cards you could sacrifice to see all enemy move dials this turn before the activation phase?
Too soon man, do you know how many Bothans died to get the plans to the second death star ![]()
When I first read this idea I though of a robed Jedi sorting through the entrails of a sacrificed Bothan to read omens and portents of the future. "Hmm, this discoloured liver indicates the Royal Guard Interceptor is going to perform a 2 bank left, we must aim our guns accordingly".

it's like an intelligence agent with the unnecessary bothan deaths
I like it
Ace Pilot
Title, 2pts
At the start of the combat phase you may increase your pilot skill by 3 up to a maximum of 8.
This upgrade cannot be equipped by pilots of skill 2 or lower.
Gives a non EPT, combat only, PS boost to middle range pilots without really offering much benefit to the higher PS pilots.
Worst. Upgrade. EVER.
Modification, 5pts
This upgrade has a points cost, it also uses your modification slot.

AKA Slave Girl Leia
Modification card which looks nice but does absolutely nothing to help in the actual battle. Apart from choke Jabba to death, like he wasn't going to die when they blew up his barge anyways.
Edited by SimplyJohnFly Casual card.
All actions on dial are green manurers
+ 0 moment if not on dial
removes one stress token,
Use this card once and discard.
Fly Casual should be something like: After you reveal a green maneuver you can not be the objective of a (target lock). Although that could be messy because it would depend on the Pilot Skill since you could be target locked BEFORE you do your maneuver.
Better do a "As long as you dont have a stress token you can not be the objective of a (target lock).
System Upgrade
Sensor Ghost
Cost 3
When you get target locked discard this card to break the lock

Not even slightly worth it, especially as a System.
Sorry about the Mess
EPT 4pts
As soon as a ship (or its flight path) moves into or stops in your primary firing arc, (during its go) you instantly get a free shot with your primary weapon at that ship!
I have a bad feeling about this!
EPT 6 pts
After setting up at the start of the game (and seeing your opponents force), you may remove this ship and replace it with another ship of equal value, minus the cost of the EPT. (if both sides have this EPT, the side with initiative decides whether to use it first).
Ex: You could replace Luke (28) along with IHABFAT (6) and R2D2 (4) total 38, with a ship and upgrades worth 32.

You mean the woman who kept the leader of the opposing forces from exercising battlefield command? You mean the bad-A$$ who murdered the dude who thought he could enslave ger- with the very chains he put on her? You mean the person who actually took out that pleasure barge?
That seems like a useful person to have.
I would like to see a card for Chopper from Star Wars Rebels. Wouldn't mind seeing the Ghost as a mini as well.
We've got Kyle Katarn, Jan Ors and the Moldy Crow, I figure we should get the villain from Dark Forces 2 as well. Apparently Jerec is very good at accurately predicting what people will do, at manipulating people, and being a real **** of a boss. I based him on the Intelligence Agent upgrade but added in a nasty twist to differentiate him a bit.
Jerec

At the start of the Activation phase, choose 1 enemy ship at Range 1-2.
You may look at that ship's chosen maneuver.
You may then discard this card and change the ship to another manuever of your choice.
Edit: Copy and paste made for bad font and formatting.

Once per round, after you take an action, you may take a free action to assign a stress token to another ship at range 1-2. If you do, assign a stress token to this ship.
Benefits being on a low PS ship, as it can assign a stress token to a high PS ship before that ship reveals its dial- but after they have decided if it will be a red maneuver. If it is red, you get to assign your opponent's maneuver for them.
If you really wanted to, you could stress a friendly Fel. Do that right, and he could end up with 2 Focus tokens, an Evade, and still boost/BR.
I'm trying to word it so that you could choose between that, and removing a stress token from both an opponent and yourself, but that seems a bit complex.
I'm going to steal ideas in this thread for the older one,
...which was started three weeks earlier.
Slide slip (Modification) 2 points
When manuevering, you do not have to use the nubs to align your templates as long as the entire template is flush with the base.
Nice idea
I seem to recall DagobahDave having a similar mechanic for maneuvering in the trench in his Death Star scenario
