Slave 1. Title. 0 squad points. Firespray only. Your upgrade bar gains 1 Illiict Upgrade icon. You cannot equip 2 of the same Illicit Upgrade cards.

I Have You Now. Elite Upgrade. 3 squad points. Imperial Only. After you hit with an attack, you may receive one stress token to deal the defender one additional facedown damage card.

May the Force be With You. Elite Upgrade. 2 squad points. Rebel Only. When you are attacked, if you do not have any stress tokens, you may receive a stress token to turn one Blank result to an Evade result.

Fearless and Inventive. Elite Upgrade. 4 squad points. Scum Only. The first time each round that you are attacked, you may reroll any Blank results on your defensive dice.

I'd really like to see either a bamed pilot ability or unique EPT that grants a counter Attack.

When defending at range one, for every <evade> result you roll exceeding the number of <boom> and <kaboom>, the attacker suffers one damage.

EASY ORDNANCE FIX:

Rocket Focus (EPT)

0 points

When you attack with a secondary weapon that needs to be discarded afterwards, you are assigned a focus token.

Easy: Call your attack and get a focus token.

0 points because it the 'fixing' character - we don't want to make ordnance even more expensive ...

Horton and Rhymer maybe would be useful at last.

Right ... you still need a focus in order to fire Proton Rocktes ... so you would end up with 2 focus then.

In primary, this would help to use APT.

There is only 1 of 8 Y-Wings with Elite Talent. Fixing the ordnances in a way that hardly applies to the rebel Bomber seems contraproductive.
I know you can get an R2 unit to fix that, but then you are wasting your R2 and expending 1 on having a fix.

Why not make it a title? Cards that fix ships are always Titles. Ships like the X-Wing and the B-Wing dont even have a title yet and the Y-Wing only has the BTL-A4 title.

Here's an absolutely bonkers idea that just occurred to me.

Modification: Quad-linked cannons (X-wing and Tie Defender Only) When attacking with primary weapon, you roll one extra attack die. Decrease maximum shields on this ship by 1. Cost ?

Reminiscent of how these ships could fire all cannon simultaneously at the cost of using energy much faster and compensating by shunting power from shields.

That's a nice one. What if you renamed it "Angle Deflectors." It sounds more thematic. Of course, then there is a prerequisite that your ship has a shield value greater than 0 or something. So maybe Turtle should be a separate card.

I'd like to see Ooryl Qrygg. Also tractor beams. Tractor beams or jamming beams could be fun. They could easily get out of hand, though.

Buzz droids!!!!!!!

torpedoe ordnance card. attack=4 for each hit or crit, place 1 buzzdroid counter on the target ship. then negate all damage. each activation phase the target ship may perform a "shake 'em off action" roll 1 defense die per buzz droid counter. for each evade rolled remove 1 counter, you can spend focus to change dice. at the end of the attack phase roll 1 attack die per buzz droid counter on your ship and resolve any damage rolled.

When you think about it... Buzz Droid missiles are the most stupid thing. They are a missile that HAS to hit the target and DOESN'T explode (which would be much more productive). Then it releases something that is probably much more expensive than an explosive and that gives you more chances of survival.

Ok, you can say that they avoid shields and directly attack the hull of the ship. Then I think the weapon should do that too. It should be similar to how StefanWitthaus designed the Mynocks

BUZZ DROID MISSILE

Range 1-3, 3 dice attack. If the attack succeeds place a Buzz Droid token on the ship without any damage.

BUZZ DROID TOKEN

At the beginning of the Activation Phase roll one attack die:

(hit) rotate your dial two units to the left or to the right (your choice)

(eye) you gain a stress token

(crit) you recieve a damage on the hull

(blank) remove the token.

Not necessarily true. We still haven't seen the Scum PS4s. They *might* have a badge slot (and they bloody well should).

The problem with cards like this--and it's a nice one, no doubt--is that I'm not sure more defensive capabilities are something we want to encourage. You've gotten around Han + Threepio, but what about Corran + R2-D2? What about Xizor + Turtle + Autothrusters? The game is fun and tense when attacks are productive, and it stalls out when attacks repeatedly fail; Threepio has taught us that if he's taught us anything.

I think this is a really good idea that needs a little work. I'd make it a 4 point EPT that reads as follows: when maneuvering you may place the template anywhere along the front edge of the base as long as it is flush to the template. At the end of maneuver you may place the the ship base against it's rear edge (or front if executing a koiogran or segnors loop maneuver) so long as it is flush with the base. If you use this ability and your ship does not have the (boost) icon you gain 2 stress at the end of the maneuver. Essentially it's a free barrel roll.

I thought about it being an ept, but in this magical world where I'm the designer, I think it's cool for the genrivs to have it, and I think by making it a modification that keeps it off phantoms and most large ship builds because usually there's somehing better as an option. It might be better costed at 3 points though.
