Hi there everybody, first off, long time lurker, first time poster AND I just picked up my first core set of X-Wing a week or so ago. 
Anyway, I'm a big fan of tabletop games and love the sense of family within groups of players, the comrodery and rivalry at the table, and I love seeing people trading their beloved miniatures, cards, and game pieces for other's just as loved miniatures and such.
There's just a few thing however that I see blocking most people from trading online, mainly being security of the transaction, and access ability. I see tons (okay not tons but a lot) of threads with whitelisted and blacklisted members, lack of organization of trades, and forum rules such as no sales permitted.
My goal is to make this easier for everybody, and with enough people interested, I'd be more than happy to take it upon myself to create a website dedicated to trading with peace of mind. The gist of how of would work is:
Party A offering X-Wing(x1), Luke Skywalker pilot card
party B offering TIE advanced(x1), upgrade card(x3)
Upon agreement, both parties send offers to a secure location.
As soon as all pieces are accounted for, parties can opt in for pictures, confirming pieces are as advertised.
Upon confirmation of pieces and their quantity, pieces will be shipped to respective parties.
If one party is not satisfied with the condition of the figures in the picture, or one party sends their offer with missing or incorrect pieces, they have an alotted amount of time to correct the order or all pieces go back to the original owners.
Also all miniature trading websites I have previously used have a horrible or confusing interface. And I want to change that, as well as offer the option of monetary payment in lieu of trading.
My goal is to make miniature and card game trading safe, secure, and easy.
