Recently, (after we lost one of the small 38B pieces) we found out FFG is not currently providing replacements for lost or damaged components for Imperial Assault. This is a grand bummer, but I may have a way to help.

I purchased an extra box set and am piece-parting it out. Some components I am keeping for myself (like dice, models and deployment cards) or eBaying, others (like tiles, counters, and other cards) are available.

Here is my proposal:

If you damaged or lost a part (or just happen to want another), I am willing to ship this stuff out to those who need it for an extremely modest fee.

If you are looking for a single card, tile, or a few tokens, and they will fit in a standard envelope, I would charge $2.50, basically enough to cover the postage (which the post office decided that they count as "non-machineable" and thus cost at least $1.20 to ship) and my time and to offset the cost of the box set a teeny tiny bit.

For the bigger tiles that require a bubble mailer, I would charge $3.50 for them. I would accept payment via Paypal and ship it out the next day.

If you are looking for multiple tiles or cards, we can work out a deal that will keep the Empire out of here forever......errr, I mean...this deal is getting worse all the time.......ummm no, wait...we'll work it out.

Please note that at the above listed price, I would be mailing to US destinations only. I am willing to ship to Canada and the United Kingdom, but the price goes up a bit for international shipping and it would obviously take much longer.

This is not true. I filled FFG's damaged or missing pieces form on the website and they were more than happy to provide my damaged Gaarkhan figure.

Interesting, we were told that because we lost piece 38B, they would not replace it. Was your damaged accidentally, or was it damaged when you opened the box?

It was already damaged when I first opened the box. I guess thats the difference.

Yeah, if it is product defect, then they will replace it. But in our case, where the piece was lost, we're SOL.

Just wanted to give this a friendly bump. Cause i'm a helpful guy.

Bumping. Had to adjust shipping costs as it was costing me more to package and ship them than I was getting per tile.

Hmmm.... that's an idea. I could buy another core, get the fixed cards, sell the pieces, and maybe make a small profit (or break even).

I bowed out of reselling core set components back in May. There was never much for competition, but there is a ton of stuff in the box set that just doesn't sell (cardboard, cards) or things that just sell too slowly or not at all (E-Web, AT-ST, Nexu, Heroes).

With all the newer expansions out, there is no demand for the Stormtroopers anymore, and with 4x4 dead, people aren't rushing out to buy the royal guard or officers. (I could break even on a box just on selling the troopers, royal guard and officers and one other figure group sale, everything else was profit).

You might have more luck parting out Twin Shadows or Return to Hoth.

I'd certainly buy more snow troopers plus cards...

I know this thread is old, but do you still have extra pieces? I (unfortunately) suffered some water damage on some of my cards and it's really bothering me - it's just some random cards here and there from different decks

I realize this is an older thread but I'm not having much luck finding other alternatives. Fizz, do you still have replacement pieces available? I had a friend over who spilled some water while I was sleeping and completely soaked a couple of map tiles and the bottom of the game box, so hoping to find replacements for both the tiles and box if possible.
