Older waves on the boat as well?

By aflorin, in X-Wing

So I decided some weeks ago to get into this game, got a budget set and have picked out what I want to buy. However, both CSI and Miniatures Market have been out of stock of just about everything for a while now (other than core and one of the aces expansions).

I've been assuming that the older waves will be restocked when the new wave arrives. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Alex

Well, perhaps not right when the new wave arrives, we don't know what all is on what boat, some of it should be though. You can look at the current status of all products with the "upcoming" link at the top of the page. Just filter for miniatures under "type". You can find a key to the different statuses on the right of the page. Virtually everything is on a boat or at the printers being reprinted.

When it actually gets to stores is anyone's guess. Most of it has been on the boat for a long time though. The current difficulties with west coast ports is probably the major slow down right now.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like of the items I want, everything is on the boat except for the x-wing expansion and both aces expansions (though imp aces is in stock at both CSI and MM at the moment). I suppose I could purchase the X and the rebel aces from Barnes & Noble since they have everything in stock but I would be paying full retail, plus tax.

I wonder why would they exclude the X-Wing and the aces expansions from the reprints.

It was most likely the fact that they were not out of stock when this wave of reprints happened, and that they will be included in the next one. The X-wing pack alone has already had 3 major reprintings, I can't imagine that they'd stop there.

Try barnesandnoble.com they have several items still in stock. Some are even discounted.

Well, it looks like the status for several of the items, including the X-Wing Expansion show as shipping so clearly it was reprinted. Odd since it didn't even show as On-the-boat before. So it looks good for having the items in stock in the next couple of weeks then.
