Just want to say thanks to the guys/gals who keep xwing vassal going

By Krynn007, in X-Wing

Muon (I believe that is spelled correctly) and anyone else who works on it

Just thought I'd say thank you very much for your time and effort you guys or gals put into vassal.

Been updating it with new content as soon as it's preview and you help players like me where there isn't a big community.

It truly is awesome and I just wanted to say thank you very much and I greatly appreciate it

Not sure how often it's been said, but just wanted to say thanks

Love it. Keep up the good work

(really wish I knew how to do stuff like that lol)

While I don't play often I love watching so to Mu0n and Silent Ubiquity, my hats off to you gents.

Big +1 to this. Being able to play the game on Vassal is fantastic. I regularly play with a friend in Holland, and have had a bunch of great games with other X-wing players from all over the world.

It's also great to be able to play around with the new waves before they are released, and to be able to test builds without having to proxy a lot of ships and cards.

Thank you!

Cheers!

next update will go up as soon as I can land card art for the remaining PS4 scum Y-Wing, PS1 scum HWK and better images for Calculation and Tansarii Point Veteran. Wave 6 will be complete then, along with radarman5's wave 6 maneuver reference cards (he's been a major contributor for the latest 2 versions).

Full list of past contributors who helped me when I took it over from before wave 3 (in no particular order):

Silentubiquity

radarman5

Theorist

Sigzog

chris B.

Gabriel Velasquez

XwingTOman

Zach Bunn

the original creator: Aiden Douglass (not active anymore in any forum, AFAIK)

and his helper for automatic movement (menu based - shortcuts were added by us later) just before wave 2: Buhallin

Thank you muon and anyone else I not have mentioned

Totally agree. Plan to get my second game in sometime soon

There is no doubt that Mu0n and the rest of the crew have been a big reason for Xwing's growth over the last year. We all owe you guys. Thank you.

I've only played one game in Vassal so far, and even though it's not quite the same thing as touching real ships and templates, it allows me to play a game with a friend that isn't local.

It also allows me to experiment and practice without having to get out the ships and clear a space on the table.

I definitely want to play more X-Wing than I do, and Vassal will help with that desire.

Thanks to everyone involved!

Thanks Krynn (and everyone else)! It's been fun working on something and then getting to see everyone using it. I just do the graphics, like the S&V ships and outlined obstacle token, Mu0n still does all the tedious/hard work of integrating everything the rest of us contribute into a working module.

I agree, thanks for Vassal. there is not a big community where I am, and I get to play about twice as often as I otherwise would thanks to Vassal

You guys put in the time and volunteer your time, and because of it we can enjoy playing others from around the world.

It brings the community closer, and let's many enjoy the game even though they don't have anyone around for miles.

You guys do an excellent job. No matter what your part in it is, big or small, it's a team effort, and again I just wanted to let yas know.

I'm sorry to the others who have worked so hard for not mentioning your names but the i am very thankful for all of you who worked on this

I've helped out because graphical stuff seems to be easier for me than most....
