Skirmish-only stuff?

By Intys Rule, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Can someone tell me what cards/tokens/items are used exclusively for skirmish games? Or is it just the initiative tokens?

Command cards are only for skirmish. As well as skirmish mission cards

And the rebel deployment cards that match the main heroes from the game, as I don't think it's possible to use those cards in the campaign.

Rebel deployment cards can be used because some missions award them as ally reward card (rebel saboteurs, luke, han....) or they are allies to be used in some campaign missions. And they are part of Wave 1 so every expansion pack will bring surely a specific mission for them to use in the campaign.

Except he specified the deployment cards of the main campaign heroes which is correct. They are skirmish only as during campaign you use their hero cards.

As I'm not interested in the campaign at all, I assembled a skirmish kit. In addition to the deployment and mission cards and initiative/damage tokens, I added the focus, stun, and bleed tokens as well as 2 copies of the stun, focus, and bleed cards for each player to have as reference along with the other reference cards for blast, cleave, etc..... everything else (other than the map tiles and minis of course) is still packed away in the original box ;)

Actually, I was kinda interested in buying a second core set so that I could do exactly this. I play the campaign with my kids and another campaign story with a group of my friends, but my main interest in IA is for the skirmish, so I'd like to just ignore the non-skirmish components so that setup becomes smoother and simpler.

I might be able to help with that. I am piece parting out a box set right now. Maybe get just the parts you need a little cheaper?

Yeah, I saw that on eBay, but for what I'd be spending I might as well just buy a complete new core set for $64. The extra minis themselves are on the verge of being worth it for me, anyway.
