So I saw a thread when I was looking at the new ones about pilot skills and phantoms. I can't make a link cause I'm on my phone in school right now. I was just reading it and it had a part of the rules okay in it saying something like this, "even though ships shoot one at a time ships with equal pilot skill can shoot before being destroyed". So if I have like a Han Solo shooting at a VI whisper say han deals damage and the phantom is destroyed, whisper would be able to shoot before he is pulled out of the game? If that's so, I cannot believe i over looked that rule, that's huge.
Pilot skill question
That is indeed how it works. It's called "Simultaneous Attack Rule" and is found at p16 of the core rule book.
yes that is the simultaneous fire rule. Page 16 of the rulebook
Yep, that is how it works. I was playing a casual game with a friend at my house yesterday and even though it was his last ship and i had multiple ships left, he was determined to use simultaneous fire to at least kill one of them. He succeeded, but lost the match

Hah I know that feeling - "at least I destroyed something!" Lol. Although I will say, not a bad habit to still play everything out to the end even in casual play so you don't forget things in a tournament, that could have made a big difference in a tournament setting. ![]()
Wow I am dumb and thank you very much for clearing that up for me.
And if both ships have the same pilot skill and both blow each other out of the sky and they were the last ships in the game, the game is a draw! Haha!
