X-Wing is made for balance. As such certain things get buffed while others get nerfed in comparison to their 'real' counterparts.
People are already mad enough at the Falcon without it having 4+ crew slots and the ability to fire two guns 360 degrees.

Containment boards only work if there are enough of the target type that the containment board isn't an echo chamber.
Just goes to show this forum is /mostly/ in good shape.
At 2:30+, it also clearly shows a Y-Wing quickly take out 2 Interceptors, followed by an X-Wing chasing after and destroying an Interceptor quite easily.
In fact, this battle clearly shows that TIE Interceptors are the slowest, least maneuverable ship in the Imperial Navy.

It's pretty obvious why those Interceptors were so easy to take down. Lando kept them in his forward firing arc, so they couldn't engage their autothrusters.
As has already been pointed out, Y-Wings are also apparently good at chasing down Interceptors. I reckon that a) those Y-Wings have got their turrets locked in forward position for double attacks, and b) that Falcon has two gunners, as well as Nien Nunb (RIP).
If you look closely, you can also see an ARC-170 in the background taking them out from both arcs.
Oh no you didn't. But as a counterpoint, look at the original death star escape fro episode IV. took Luke and Han a lot longer to deal with 3 measly tie fighters, and even then they took a beating, and those were 3 academy pilots that were "dissappointing" (they wanted them to escape to the rebel base, they expected the ties to lose.) I think there were so many ties in the battlespace at endor that they could not effectively manuever, so there you go.
I just want to know why the gunners went to sleep when they entered the death star superstructure. Good old lando sticking a friendly on his 6 while his gunners do nothing. They should have really had a turkey shoot in those tight spaces, but those gunners didn't fire a shot once they entered the death star interior. If I would have been that pilot behind lando, I would have had something for him when we got back to base.....just saying.

Since that's the death star those are probably royal guard ties meaning the falcon should cost at least as much as three of them
