So yes i've started playing this week, i tried the game at a LCS, and it was pretty fun!
So with what i have bought, am i able to build a playable Imperial 100 pts army ? Many build i see online uses cards i don't own.
If any of you guys have suggestions for a build, or should i buy another ship to get to 100 pts ?

It is possible to achieve 100pts with just the Decimator and Core but you should look into other options depends what you have available to you for purchase.

Also find an online squadron builder it'll make list building easier once your collection starts growing as you can add sets that you own and they will let you know if it's possible with what you have.

Newbie here, I take it EPT means 'Elite Pilot Talent'? At least I hope it does, since the idea of an 'Electronic Paper Trail' being an option in this game makes it sound a lot less fun. 
EPT does stand for Elite Pilot Talent.
2 Black Squadrons Pilots with Ruthlessness is also a lot of fun as well.
Really really good starting buy.
I really recommend buying a tie fighter expansion. Highly recommended. 3 ties is much better than 2 and have some very good builds.
Oicunn can ram things that are very hard to put damage on: Soontir and Fat Han.
Mara Jade can really mess up a lot of players and swarmy attacks.
Moffy J because you NEED crit prevention. USE PROTECTION.
Howlrunner gives you a modified offense for when youre actionless from ramming.
The PS1 Tie can be used to block and mess up your opponents positioning.

Predator is the best EPT for Decimators imo. Except maybe lone wolf for Kenkirk + Phantom.
