Credit where it is due. Ben edits Hydian Way. It's his and Cam's baby.
Thanks for the clarification.

Have to concur on the mic, both of them have audio issues. It was a very helpful episode, what I could hear of it, I wish the audio hadn't been so distracting. Because of the episode (and hopefully the next one), I'm actually considering running more than a simple 4 turn chase scene. However, Cameron's audio was usually unintelligible, like talking on a cheap cellphone next to a freeway. Ben's was mostly good, but has an echo that really could use some squelching... <-- not a technical term.
Flat and clear would be my preference. I'd contribute to new equipment if they did a kickstarter...

I do believe there's a Patreon link on their site, I too would consider contributing if it meant they could upgrade their equipment. The content is solid and they have the cuts and the format where I find them above reproach. I think they are partially at the whim of their respective ISPs and the internet at large for the audio transmission codec, though.

It would be possible for each of them to record their own audio from their own end (before mixing with anyone else), and then share that with the podcast editors.
This way, the livestream happens however it happens, while the rest of us who are listening after-the-fact can get higher quality audio.
The folks at iDownloadblog have a great article at http://www.idownloadblog.com/2015/02/07/podcasting-basics-part-ii-location-voice-microphones-and-hardware/ regarding the choices of microphones, and I’m sure that there are other similar resources available to cover the other parts to the process.
