Galadriel's Chosen (multiplayer, quest/support)

By awp832, in Strategy and deck-building

This deck is built for multiplayer to be paired with a combat heavy deck. It is designed for questing and support, although if it comes down to it you can certainly throw down in combat a bit as well. It is meant to win, but it is themed as well. This deck is built with 1 core set.

Comments: I decided to make what was largely going to be a silvan elf deck without all the silvan shenanigans. There isn't any; play this card, get it's effect, return this back to your hand, get this effect, etc. in the deck at all. It's just the basic pillars of quest deck building; willpower, supporting events, supporting combat. With Galadriel and her mirror, ancient mathom, daeron's runes, it is not too hard to get what you want. Galadriels other ability is really handy for Silvan Refugees, allowing them to quest and then go meet their destiny as a blocker on the same turn.

The Ents are a bit anti-synergistic with Galadriel's ability I know, but they are just such a good deal, I can't resist including them. Speaking of good deals, there is Bofur. He actually works pretty well with Galadriel/Mirror because if it seems you are going to lose the quest you can Mirror for Bofur, play him, and get his phenomenal statline for only 1 cost.

This deck boasts plenty of willpower and can heal, manage threat, draw cards, and support your allies with Haldir's ranged shot, all things that Tactics players are going to appreciate out of you.

Not 100% sure on the White Council. I usually play 2 player which is where The White Council shines the best IMO, it's also nicely thematic and it has been useful sometimes. Still, not sure if there is a better card to include in its place.
