Future of Star Wars

I had just turned 30 when Phantom Pregnancy came out. I can't think of a single good thing about it either. Maybe...

Well to be honest, eventhough I am not a fan of the first two prequels and find the third only mildly okay, what I did like about them was seeing new races, locations, creatures, ships, etc. that was reason enough for me to enjoy them. Does that make sense to anyone?

Phantom Menace also gave us Keira Knightly as a stand in for Portman.

No Dante, I'm not against the content. I'm happy to see elements - ships, species, gear etc - from any source in the FFG game.

The Revenge of the Sith made Darth Vader look like a whining child. The Attack of the Clones displayed the Jedi Order as one of mind-blowing incompetence. The Phantom Menace was simply hot garbage. It lacked a coherent plot or, most importantly, a protagonist.

As far as not being a "real fan" because I didn't like the prequels, I say to that, "Suck it." They were crap. My definition of fan does not require willful ignorance or delusional thinking.

Will FA be good? No idea, but there's no way it can be worse.

Could be a Uwe Boll film instead. :D

Responding to the OT,

First what we got so far is just a Teaser Trailer. It really just reminded us that we are a year out. The Avengers Age of Ultron Teaser did not get many likes and the First Full Trailer we got gave us so much on what we will see in the movie this summer. Which is what I expect to see when the First Full SW Ep VII trailer drops.

When it comes to the reaction of the Fans saying they are just doing the greatest hits, because of the look. I would like to remind them that Star Wars (The Original Trilogy) is what inspired JJ Abrams to be a director. He is a huge fan and we will get to see his vision of Star Wars. Which should be no surprise he would do something more inline with the OT.

It does make sense. I believe that is one of the reasons why there is such division on the prequels. Even among those who do not like them.

I believe the majority of the fans who dislike them really felt let down GL and this is because he got over ambitious with them (The Prequels). He ended up getting lost trying to please everyone instead of focusing on what is best for the Movie. Which really stands on the difference between the two Trilogies.

For me I enjoy the Prequels for what they are and do not let disappointment go to blind hatred. By themselves they are not terrible. They are okay to good movies, but do not live up to the Standard of the OT.

Don't say that! Not even as a joke.

HEY! House of the Dead was an awesome movie. Mind you, it was also wildly incompetent - but it was entertaining as hell.

House of the Dead was fun to watch, but due to any capability on the part of Boll.

"It's worse."

- Han Solo

The teaser trailer looked good. I just hope two things, primarily - that they respect the technological milieu of the earlier ones and don't feel the need to modern up the tech; and that they don't go overboard on the Force.

This definitely. One of the reasons I dislike most of the last few seasons of The Clone Wars was the over focus on the Force.
