So I've mainly been an imperial pilot but I'm stumped on what to take to a store championship this weekend.

I was thinking of going with a 'big threat' and a mini swarm. Something like this

It's not quite so much exactly what's in the build ( I could swap the A's for Z's ect ) more how well people think a 'mini swarm' plus other for the rebels would work. There's many Imp built with a mini Howl swarm and one large threat.

It's not really making the most out of Keyan's ability...

Plenty of ways to still put stres on the B-wing. With all the red on the dial, Rebel captive and the rest of the stress meta, I'm sure it he won't have a problem becoming stress. Admittedly he is built as a phantom counter.

I think it can work very well (I ran a 35 point Luke with 4 As and it's currently my favorite Rebel build). The downside on Keyan, though is he is very vulnerable in that list and a very clear first target. There's no situation someone shouldn't shoot at Keyan if he's an option. The As are harder to hit at any range and their gun is smaller. One of the reasons I ran with Luke is he can be a slightly cheaper (and better) phantom counter, imo, with EU, VI, and the stress droid. Just something to think about.

What about 35 point Keyan

Keyan + PTL + Title + Jan

Each round has Target Lock, Offensive Focus and Evade.

That's a nice built on Keyan. I've only really theorywinged on B's. One of the only ships I've not really flown.

Yes. You have a phantom threat plus enough ships to try and burn down a large ship.
