And Homeworld is rereleased in the very near future. There were some good star wars mods for it back in the day.

I saw the defender but do they have X-wing and Y-wings as well as Tie Fighters. Also can you upgrade fighters or get more than just fighters and bombers?

I've already bought my copy, and am waiting impatiently!

I used to play Homeworld and then Homeworld 2 all the time, they were great games. And yes, when the Star Wars mods came out, I got a lot of milage out of it.

Homeworld Cataclysm remains one of my go-to memories for great games. The horror of the Beast and the fun of an outsider clan rising through adversity to supreme power, plus the fun of things like the Ion Fighters Dreadnoughts, really made the game stand out. HW 2 was amazing as well.

I've got Homeworld Remastered on my Steam wishlist now. Maybe next summer/Christmas sale it'll be cheap enough for me to pick it up without feeling guilty...
