I ran this for the first time tonight. I thought it went pretty well, over all. The players managed to avoid most of the danger through role playing and decision making, so we didn't see any big fights, but it was tense.
Personally I like the system as a nice, sit down game. I'm going to have to get more used to adding negative die to the characters pools, but that should come with practice.
If there is one area I wanted to get some feedback/advice on, it is the experience portion at the end. The way I read the section was that a player comes up with a positive and negative feature, the group votes on it, and the player either adds the feature or increases/decreases the appropriate characteristic. First time I read it I thought it was a fun way of doing it, but after our first session it seems sort of clunky. There's no reason for the group to vote a negative feature or not to vote for a positive one.
I will fully admit I may be having an attack of dyslexia, but I've read the section a few times and I'm unclear on this. And if I've missed something obvious, be gentle.
