Do they exist? Does anyone know offhand of any starships from lore that would be an example of this? I'm thinking something that would be like a ship to shore landing craft, but smaller than a T-4 shuttle. Or any homebrews people have created. Thanks.
Silhouette 3 Shuttles
Like the TIE shuttle?
I found them missing from 'things we need' as well so I statted a couple-
Gallofree Service Shuttle 23K
Sil 3 Speed 2 Handling -1 Hull 10 SS 6 Armour 2
No hyperdrive No Shields No guns
Sensors Close
1 Pilot
Enc 40
Passengers 6
Consumables 1 day
Rarity 3
Cost 22,000 2nd hand only
HP 1
Yeah, its cheap, nasty and probably not much fun, but it is what it is, an honest space van for 7 people
Corellian Engineering Corp XS-400 Light Shuttle
Sil 3 Speed 2 Handling 0 Hull 12 SS 10 Armour 2
Shields 1/-/-/1
Prim x3 BU: x15 and Navcomp
Sensor- Close
Pilot, Co-Pilot
Enc 40
Passengers 12
Consumables 3 weeks
Cost 57,000 2nd hand 75,000 new
HP 3
Weapons, Forward twin linked light laser cannons
Another crap-box, short hauler used mostly for inter-system day-hops, repair crews, workers going to space stations and other sorts of menial stuff that just needs a small space bus to do it in. Alternatively replace the Lasers with a light-tractor for more mundane dragging stuff around in an orbital slip-yard.
Sienar Fleet Systems WR-542 Shooting Star
Sil 4 Speed 4 Handling +1 Hull 20 SS 16 Armour 2
Shields 1/-/-/1
Prim x0.5 BU: x12 and Navcomp
Sensor- Short
Pilot and In-built droid Co-Pilot
Enc 50
Passengers 8
Consumables 2 months
Cost 108,000 2nd hand only
HP 2
Weapons 2 x Dorsal/Ventral turrets with Twin Light Laser cannons
Fast courier made by Sienar and discontinued around -5 years BBY. Comes stock with a 0.5 HD!
The In-Built Droid co-pilot/bitchin Betty was also a feature which basically is an Astromech and has Skill YYG in Piloting, Mechanics and Computer. Very popular with rebels and other smuggler-type miscreants.
Mistake on the SS WR542, was supposed to be 4, not 3 like in the original post
Edited by MKXYour Shooting Star is way too powerful compared to almost everything we have in print. IMO, nothing should really come with a 0.5 hyperdrive as standard and this thing has the HTT and SST of a light freighter with the performance of a fighter for a lower cost than either.
Actually read my notes wrong on that one, supposed to be Sil4, not 3. Thought I had another Sil 3 ship tucked away but don't.
That link also drops the passengers to 3.
And that's just why I spent $578 on reading glasses through the week because 3, 5 , 8... its all relatively the same at the moment until I pick them up tomorrow.
You could probably use a Hwk290 as a shuttle since it is listed as Sil 3. Yes it only gas to Passengers, but it can be argued that its cargo bay would not have problems converting some of space for additional passengers.
If you have to move people as cargo, consider that large specimen containers are Enc 5 and can hold up to 15 Enc, which is often two people. It has its own life support and stasis too.

Agreed, my players are considering converting to be a shuttle bus, it could easily hold 10 people in small cabins, or more if they're like those Japanese airport sleeping pods.
Thanks for the responses. I missed the sidebar about the TIE/sh in AoR. Between that, the imperial assault shuttle statistics on Wookipedia, and the HWK-290 I think I have a pretty good feel for what the characteristics should look like for a generic small shuttle. I definitely would like to see a couple more from FFG though to see what they do with it.
Perhaps we'll see one or two in the recently announced Desperate Allies?
It might seem like a good place for a sil 3 shuttle or two.
