Been Trying to Get Fett to work

By macar, in X-Wing

So my current build with Boba is

Fett:

HLC:

Ysane:

Push The Limit:

Engine Upgrade:

The combo is when fet gets down to hull he can ysanne and push for a boost or any other action (if he bumps or lands on a rock)

I have paired him with

Oicunn, Determination

Kath Wingman, Captive

Krassis Ion, Captive, Tact Jammer

Mild success, but want to reach out and see if the community has any ideas!

Sorry mate. We're going to have to untap you for these ideas to turn to gold. They aren't there yet...

Isaard is tricky on firesprays since at best, you'll have her kick in when you've lost half your health already.

I think when I played you, you had a bounty hunter with HLC and recon as your wingman.

I'm not a fan of cannons on Firesprays, nor of Isard on anything but the Decimator (just not enough hull left after she activates).

I do, however, like the idea of a VI Fett+RecSpec (doulbe Focus lets you go much further on defense, or boost your offense without losing much on defense), or a VI Fettigator (you go where you want, when you want). For the RecSpec Fett, you can also swap in Predator instead of VI, to give it a soft target lock.

I'd say go Lone Wolf, but I'd prefer to run that one a 3 Agility ship, like a (post-title) Advanced or Defender.

If Asteroids or Bumping is an issue for your Fett why not a Fett-igator build?

Boba Fett — Firespray-31 39
Push the Limit 3
Heavy Laser Cannon 7
Navigator 3
Engine Upgrade 4

Also I'd consider using Outmaneuver instead of PTL. The combination of mobility and rear-arc makes up for only having a single action per turn.

The Ysane+PTL combo could be great on a Shuttle, of course you'd need to take Experimental Interface instead but it could work.

Colonel Jendon — Lambda-Class Shuttle 26
Advanced Sensors 3
Fleet Officer 3
Ysanne Isard 4
Experimental Interface 3

Adv.S > Fleet Officer > Green Maneuver > Clear Stress > Isard > Experimental Interface > Target Lock > Jendon

Edit:: would only work as above every other turn. Unless there's a Wingman or Yorr nearby

Isard plus Lonewolf and Engine is the combo you want. But you probably want it in a two ship list to facilitate Lonewolf.

I would argue that Isard is better on the Firespray than the Decimator, because 2 agility means you prevent a lot more damage overall. 12 hull is deceptive, yes it looks like Isard kicks in earlier on the face of it, but the rate at which you lose hull on a Decimator is much faster.
