In this last version, I dumbed down the colours so that they are not as vibrant and distracting.
These really look good. I can't wait until my players see them in their folios.
My GM awards me XP for bringing handy things to the table, thanks for making it easy!
I love them, Hooly! You are great.

These look very good! You’ve chosen some very unique and unusual colors for the leather background of the Player Action Sheet and the dark Teal background of the Spending Triumphs page.
The only improvement I can come up with at the moment is that the white typeface at the bottom for the Advantage/Threat/Success/Failure/Triumph/Despair symbols is hard to read against the lighter background.
You could either make that white font bolder and/or larger, or you could put it on the darker grey background that you’ve used elsewhere on these pages to set off a white font.
My job is never done
Advantage and Threat Sheet v3.1
And for those that missed it:
Starship Player Action Sheet 3.0
Edited by GM HoolyThose are awesome!! They will help my players and me a lot.
Just keep getting better and better
I guess my next question...what's next? Any suggestions?

You have the skills to pull this off - how about a rough personal scale "range helper" wherein you have a picture with a depth of field out to Extreme range, say down a street or what have you. Then you guesstimate the rough differences for range bands and overlay colors to help visualize it. I know the ranges are not hard and fast, but having a visual to hand out could help new players get the concept quickly. The same tool would be cool for space combat but the distances involved are ... dare I say ... astronomical.
I'm such a dork I sit and estimate ranges when I'm out and about just to keep a picture fresh in my mind. "That car is short range, that building is extreme range," etc. Just seeing it would be a boon, I think, even though it's abstracted per the rules. I know I have done a poor job with range in the past and having a handout at the table will help me remember and encourage players to ask about range, and thus, our story is enhanced.
I like the thought, but the best examples I have seen/heard are audibles:
You can hear me when I:
Whisper = ENGAGED
Talk normally = SHORT
Raise my voice = MEDIUM
Yell = LONG
Use a loud speaker = EXTREME
Is this kind of the sort of thing you mean?
I have to admit to stealing the stormtrooper images directly from the back of the Star Wars Introductory Adventure boxed set.
That's not exactly what I had in mind, but it certainly does the job and looks good doing it, GM Hooly!
I too try to gauge range with sound, but I am fortunate to have some uncanny hearing so I reckon I'm a poor judge using that sense.
Looks good but Long wouldn't be in the bar any more, Long would be a half block or more away. Medium would be where your Long is and Short where Medium is.
Edited by FuriousGregI love all of the work you have done here! This is a great addition to the community.
one question (and maybe I am misunderstanding the skill): I did not see the ship speed difficulty table for Gain the Advantage.
I have yet to see a product outside the rule book that has that table.
Again, I really apprciate all of the hard work you have put into these. I am learning photoshop now and it is a beast!

I can be really, really loud. My SPL meter peaks out at 127dB and I know this because I have peaked it out by yelling at it. Last I checked, the Guinness Book of World Records entry in this area is about 131-132dB. I don’t think I’m the loudest person on the planet, but I have met very few people who I think could potentially challenge me in this area, and so far all of them have had a lot of training in singing, such as operatic singing.
And yet, when I look at the picture that GM_Hooly drew, his description of yelling at Long distance corresponds fairly well to what I level of sound I would have to achieve if I were to try to make myself heard by that trooper at that distance. Note that I am assuming a normal level of sound volume in the room — not a normal bar-level of sound, but closer to 60dB.
You can hear someone yelling a football field away baring wind, loud ambient noise or other obstruction. The math is something like -50db at 250m.
The image of the ST currently at long is about the same size as a man sizes target at 50' which is 15 meters or so, well within the Medium threshold.

Now we need to try to figure out what additional information could be put in the right-hand-side of the A&TS, to help fill out the information for spending threat and despair.
Yeah white space was annoying me to. I always thought that chart was small.

What background noise levels are you assuming there? If the average room is ~60dB, and a quiet room is ~40dB, what’s the level assumed in this case?
What level are you assuming the shout is generated at? Are we assuming my peak of ~125dB, or closer to ~100dB, which I think is more typical?
What’s the average required signal-to-noise ratio to be understood? Is that ~50dB, or is ~30dB sufficient? Maybe ~20dB?

I don't think that the intention of using yelling distance as a guide was to have it vary with environment, it was more of just a way to get a point across. But I'm going with a average day outdoors in a park to gauge distance. I also, unless it's a really huge open building like a hanger or warehouse, Medium is going to be pretty much the max for indoors.
I LOVE these sheets Hooly, well done on all accounts, I've started to distribute them to my players.
May I recommend expanding the Starship sheet to include Silhouette 5+ vehicle rules: Like explaining 'Massive' and actions like Blanket Barrage, Concentrated Barrage, Overwhelming Barrage etc.
Also may I recommend mentioning how you have house rules on the sheet and outline the official rules, so that players can choose which way they want to use it and if the GM will allow it.
An example of this is "Scan the Enemy" in the core rulebooks it states that the players basically learn the ships capabilities and current status. I do like your suggestion of choosing between the next 2 crits though. Maybe have a little notation saying "This is a house rule, consult your GM before performing this move."
Gain the advantage on the sheet states it is in effect until the target gains the advantage back, whereas the book also calls out that it stops at the end of the 'following round'. May be worth mentioning that. Plus every time a ship uses it, they upgrade the difficulty for every 'time he or his opponent has successfully gained the advantage over each other.'
Evasive Manuvers is in effect until the end of the pilots next turn, not the end of the round as you say on the sheet.
Please don't take offense at all these, merely trying to help make this the fantastic resource better and accurate.
Edited by EbakRegarding expansion...where? There is only so much stuff I can fit on the one page
