Just thought I'd share...

If you're into Star Wars comics, the new Marvel series is out and I have #1 and #2.

All in all I like it. The art is good, the story is fun and I don't feel like I just wasted $4.

Never much into the DH stuff so I can't and won't compare it to that. But the nice this is, this is considered canon, which the DH stuff wasn't as far as I know.

If you know nothing about it, it takes place between ANH and ESB.

It's okayish I suppose, but the art just leaves so much to be desired.

I read the DH legacy from #1 until it was canceled. Now I'm in on the new Star Wars. I picked up #1 and the special edition cover for $20. I also had them add it to my comic box as a regular. I'm not so sure about Darth Vader and Leia comics... I might peruse them next time I'm at the comic store.

I LOVED those first 2 issues. They did a really good job of capturing everyone's voice and mannerisms. It all feels like a "missing" film, or something.

I love them. Fantastic and very exciting.

Although threepios reference to Empire strikes back really bugged me.

Looking forward to to see how Heir to the Jedi and the Vader series all intertwine.
