duel yt-2400

So can duel yt-2400 work? my other half is buying me a second one for my bday in a few days, and I struggling to make a duel list work

thinking...

Dash

outrider

Hlc

Ptl

Kyle

Leebo,determination

Can't remember how many points that is on top of my head. But my issue is that leebo lacks firepower. So maybe vrill instead to make ships think twice about k-turning nea. My other ships

I've been thinking about a 2400 WITHOUT the Outrider title and the only one I could think of running is Eaden Vrill. Problem is, the Rebels do not have a way to constantly place stress on opponents like the Empire does. You'd have to rely on ordinance.

Easily. You play one of them and your brother plays the other.

I prefer a YT2400 with dual YT1300s but yes, there's plenty of list combos for 2 YT2400s.

I went 2-2 in a store championship with 3 Wild Space Fringers. It was a lot of fun. I've done pretty well with it on Vassal, too, once I figured out how to fly it a little better. (First attempt had me bumping myself a lot.)

Yeah! I agree, I was trying to do it to as well and seems to make use of Vrill's ability.

You can use Jans or Expose to get the primary attack up to three. Throw both on there and you've got four reds, and instead of a range one blind spot you get five dice there instead.

I can barely even imagine a YT2400 without Outrider...

I've been thinking about trying a YT-2400 without the title, but with an HLC. That way, it acts like a shuttle in the sense that you have a forward firing arc that you need to keep trained on people... But you have a 2 dice turret as insurance if you miss arc. Which will more often than not happen at R1, which you'll throw 3 dice. It'll for sure play differently than a turret (which is why I don't play the named YT-1300s or the Outrider YT-2400s) since the forward arc matters.

And then there's Vrill. Who I've never seen on the table. I've toyed around with lists to "make him work" but there's not a true solution, though I suppose R3-A2 on a defensive E wing might not be too bad. But heck - if you're combining two YT-2400s, you could try putting tactician on the HLC non-titled one, as well as Vrill w/o a secondary weapon. Perhaps something like:

Tarn Mison w/ R3-A2

Eaden Vrill

Leebo w/ HLC + Tactician

100 pts

Now you have two people that can stress your enemies, along with being dangerous themselves. And then Vrill can shoot at a stressed target to gain an extra attack die. Once S+V comes out, you could drop HLC to Mangler, saving 3 points, which could be used to put determination on Leebo, and Flechettes on Tarn. Now he can double stress a person (and if they go for him first, they give him the TL he needs to shoot the Flechettes), or even triple stress him if he was silly enough to activate PTL or something first.

A friend of mine runs dash as regular and a vrill with HLC and Rex spec I think.

It's good, but not overbearing. Vrill is a stron follow up attacker to dash, especially against ptl/interface squads.
