I don't think it's a misprint. The EotE Core listed spice is Glitterstim, harvested on Kessel, while the new spice from LoNH is Ryll spice, harvested on Ryloth (mostly). Glitterstim is widely considered "stronger" and more potent than Ryll, but also more expensive. I would guess a "dose" of Ryll spice is heavier to reach a similar, albeit different, effect.Looking through the new spices, I'm curious if I came across a misprint. In the core Rulebook, all of the 100 dose containers of various types of spices are Encumbrance 5, but in the Lords of Nal Hutta 100 dose cargo containers are listed at 25 encumbrance. I wonder if this was a deliberate design choice, or a misprint? Or if retroactively the core rulebook ones should be 25?
It works for me. Ryll is also semi-legal. Looking at its effects, I could see some using it as a field medication, which therefore could be in demand for military applications. The reason I asked, is that the dose/crate ratio in the CRB was different. My RPG group is looking at being a legit ryll transport business, so I'm trying to figure out the approximate cost value that a YT-1300 can carry.
The neuronic whip.... Is this like the whips the Zygerrian slavers used in the episodes of The Clone Wars? Fits the description anyway.
Also, the Poison Reservoir weapon attachment. Is it 500 cr per the description, or is it 400 cr per the stat block?

I think so, yes.

In the past, the designers have always said that the stat block trumps the fluff. So, unless you hear an official answer otherwise, I would assume the stat block is correct.
Where things get confusing is when the stat block conflicts with itself. ![]()
*confetti* Yay, Repulsor Fist!
Just got my copy of the book tonight and it looks really useful. Looking forward to incorporating a lot of material in here into my game. Can't wait to digest it fully.
Then obviously I’m right and I win the Internet. Thanks!

Can someone give me the stats on the repulsor fist?
If people are giving out stats and that isn't against the rules I would like the Kossak's.
AFB, but the repulsorfist gives one rank of Defensive Stance and acts as a Brawl weapon with Damage 8, Concussive 1, Slow-Firing 2.
That sounds pretty dang sweet. I've gotta get my hands on these new books. I don't have this one yet. Really wish they would sell PDFs since none of my local stores carry the books.
^ You and me both.
I bought the book for my GM but of course i took a skim through the new stuff. Ganks are really cool. Granted the one they have on that centerfold page looks alot like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat....
Which is my favorite char hehehehe.
"GET OVER HERE!!!"

That looks pretty awesome. I can't wait to get the book. Repulsor fist in one arm and a hidden pistol in the other. Puch away and take a shot at their head.
I would first like to say, I very much appreciate actual delivery methods for poisons. Palm shooter and gas grenade: great for children's parties.
I do have one question, however. From what I've read, the gas grenade's blast radius is the same as a regular grenade. I kinda figured it would be bigger, like the thermal detonator. Am I wrong in thinking this? Other folks in my group tend to agree. Is there a mechanical reasoning as to why it shouldn't have that increased blast radius?

Perhaps it's a small amount of poison and if it disperses over a wider area it will be less effective? If you want to make bigger gas bombs, use the demolition rules (Dangerous Covenants) and chain several of them together for a bigger effect at the same level of deadliness.
Yeah, that's my point. We really needed to have a Sil 1.5 rating that's bigger than people but too small for even the lightest planetary scale weaponry. Or, so as not to change the system, maybe extend the top of Sil 1 to include bikes and things.I think part of the problem is that vehicles like this needed to have more granularity on the Silhouette 2 range. Auto-Blaster on a T-16 seems fine, by on something like the Hutt surfboard or a swoop, it seems a bit much.
An auto-blaster on an AT-PT would be reasonable. You couldn’t hide it on either the T-16 or the AT-PT, but you could mount it.
But you couldn’t even mount it on a bike or a surfboard.
IMO, of course. YMMV.
Bike = Sil 1.
Person = Sil 1.
Bike w/ Person sitting on it = Sil 2.
Maybe that's what they mean?
Explanation to Hutts Resilence 8! XD
Could someone pm me or post the stats of the species? My copy won´t arrive until monday and I have plenty of time this weekend. I want to translate it for my german players

I'm sure they would if they could, but I kinda doubt FFG can afford the cost of their electronic licensing. Not to mention how existing license-holders (e.g. BioWare, Obsidian, Lego Group) might have issues with it because of how it could affect their license rights.
Edited by KshatriyaRegarding the overkill weapon on the Hutt hover sled, I think it might be a misprint and is supposed to be personal scale. Cause it's listed as having a vehicular range of Medium, up to 50kms(!), something that isn't seen in vehicle scale weapons until you hit Sil 5 and higher.

Tried to last night but it said you couldn't receive PM's.
