Why a PM, it's not classified or anything. They're 3/1/2/2/3/2 with 70 XP, two skill options to choose for a free rank (Coercion and, um... Discipline?) along with Ponderous, and a free rank each of Nobody's Fool and Durable. I can't recall the WT and ST off the top of my head.
Lords of Nal Hutta Spoiler Thread
I asked earlier but it seems it was overlooked. Can you post the Gank stats?
ganks are all 2s with a 1 presense
My book arrives on Tuesday!!! whooo!
Can you post the stats of the M-22 Krayt Gunship?
Thanks you all rock!
Do they (ganks) get any free starting skills, what are their starting wound and strain, and what is their starting xp.
10+B, 10+W, 110xp, either Coercion or Vigilance
You'll probably want the new cybernetics options if you're set on playing a Gank.
What are the costs for them? I didn't realize the current ones cost as much as they do...
Is there anything at 1000 or less?

you could perhaps get the book....
They have a budget for cybernetics...
I plan on getting it but my store doesn't have them in yet...
I want to have the character made for a session I am playing tomorrow. It is the only reason I would be asking like this.
I ordered the book tonight but it won't arrive until Friday. My next game session is Wednesday, though, and it looks like the players want to delve into some Hutt territory to address their obligations and backstories.
Can anyone post or PM me the list of planets included in this book so I can start my research before Wednesday's session?
This is one of favorite supplements in the entire system, all of the fluff and crunch are just great.
I will say that player Hutts are pretty tense, the Ponderous drawback and their low starting exp (70, I think that's the lowest yet) don't seem to balance out their two free talents (Nobody's Fool and Enduring, which are both awesome) and two stats at 3 with only one at 1 (though I am hard pressed to find another weakness for Hutts apart from Agility).
On the other hand a Hutt moving under it's own power will half a group's movement speed and won't win any footraces... though those cool sleds are a decent investment at 8000 credits.
The book also dropped a mention of Supreme Chancellor Blotus; which is just perfect.

Ditto I was planning to get it this week but one of my credit card companies screwed me over this month so I don't have the money needed. And the presence of the Kossak makes me want it very very badly. (I've always had a massive soft spot for frigates of any setting, both historical and fictional, and type, and I've loved all of the new ones FFG has created so far. My biggest complaint about Saga's ship inventory is that there were so many Clone Wars and GCW era frigates, corvette, and gunships they could have easily included but didn't)

Be careful of allowing that "decent investment" as that sled has a concealed Auto-Blaster, which will totally destroy any personal-scale combatant.

which is no worse than any other weapons available. and at 8000 credits it is not cheap.

Yeah, that was a surprisingly heavy weapon for something like that. At first I thought it was just a personal scale weapon and then I realized it was a full scale vehicle turret and instant death to anything without the benefit of Hull Trauma for health.

That depends. The Hutt is likely to believe that he can take his sled along on most outings. This can totally wreck encounter balance in the same way as the guy that expects to always have access to his armed swoop, and should probably be similarly limited in use.
Probably wouldn't be too hard to trim down the sled to either remove the autoblaster or replace it with a more sensible personal-scale weapon, with an equitable reduction in cost as well; probably just 5000 credits if there's no weapons built-in already, maybe 6500 if it's packing a heavy blaster rifle.
Plus it's 8000 credits, and if the GM is going by the EotE suggestion to always keep the party hungry for credits, that is a very sizable investment on the group's part.
Is there a release date for the UK?
Changing the damage conversion from 1-to-10 to 1-to-5 alleviates that. That's a house rule that makes sense too in general.
Edited by BarbeChenueWhy not just say it's doing personal scale damage and not vehicular? Give it the stats of a light repeating blaster
Or simply have people know about the blasters on the sleds and respond accordingly. I know I wouldn't want to negotiate with someone who I know has a hidden blaster on me. Nor let them into my shop, or ride my shuttle, or mix with civilians in a no-weapon zone.
IMO, rip out the auto blaster from the sled, and then reduce the price of the sled by what it would cost to add an auto-blaster. Then don’t ever allow the players to buy an auto-blaster to add to the sled.
Problem solved. But then, maybe that’s just me.

Until they buy one of the hover bikes that has a vehicle mounted weapon. Similar problem as someone mentioned before.
