Greetings, Holonet,
Many of you watched our stream of the FCB Comics and Games Store Championship on January 10th. The stream was a huge success, and therefore, we will be streaming frequently going forward. We are beginning a quarterly competitive tournament series at our store, whose first tournament will be this Saturday, February 7th. We will be streaming one featured match from each round, in addition to the final, and each tournament in the series will be streamed live as such. We also are planning something big for the release of Scum and Villainy, so keep a look out for that!
But, to kick off our X-wing Streaming series, we will begin with two featured match-ups this Wednesday Evening, February 4th, tentatively beginning at 7:30PM EST. The first one will feature Brendan, AKA InstantAequitas here on the Holonet, vs James, AKA the Tabletop General of www.tabletopgeneral.com. Brendan recently reached the Top 4 at another local Store Championship of 25 players and was the lead commentator for the Top Eight at our very own Store Championship at FCB, playing the same list he will play on the stream. James also played in our Store Championship, and was featured in our first streamed match of the Top Eight, in which he was defeated by a Dash and Corran list that went to the top table. Brendan will be playing a Triple X-wing list against James' Double Phantoms with Carnor Jax.
Details of the second match will be revealed soon! Both matches should also be posted to YouTube. We plan to stream from our League nights frequently, so if you're busy this week, tune in next week!
And stay tuned for our Tournament Stream this Saturday! The tournament will begin at 11AM EST and will last all day!
