no, without kidding, this is something I never understood about the editors of Talisman .. If I was them I would have made the 'Luxury Edition' years ago, in a clean branded and decorated portable box, nice and tight, .. would be sooooo cool !

About the 'Luxury box' idea:

I could wait for the editor (can they sell enough copies to put time, efforts and money for such a box? > to me it seems improbable.), OR designing it myself ..
.. and so I started working on it .. Plans will be available once I made it, for those interested.

First Bottom drawer: rules
Second drawer: Cards (so the box isn't top-heavy, wanted them as down as possible)

Third drawer: the boards

4th Drawer will hold figurines, visible through top (might even put some leds under the bezel, for extravaganza)

Box Size is around L=30 cm x W=30 cm x H=24 cm .. Still needs loads of adaptation .. and deco
This weekend I'm testing 'print-transfer to wood'-products .. for the logo(s)

Are you sure the cards are heavier than the boards?

well I didn't weigh them, but if I were to guess, I think the many cards and their respective boxes are heavier than the boards yes .. To be checked, when I have a scale available this evening .. :-D

Changing the order of the drawers is no biggie .. If you have any advise, please be my guest, and feel free to tell me !! (always harder to think about everything alone ;-) ) .. maybe I should start a new topic, I have the feeling I'm trespassing on someone else's post here .. :-)

boards only: 1Kg768 [not including Deep Realms]

it's actually closer than I thought, but the cards take the lead..

I have my tokens separate, and keep the rules with the boards, so maybe that's it.

Yeah a deluxe edition box if nothing else would be cool. I use a massive storage plastic box for it now and it just got outgrew that.

Please don't make one.
