Alright so there's been a recent surge of A-wing swarms that have been doing great around the tournament scene which is awesome to see. There's also a lot of autothruster love being talked about for quite a few different ships. But, I haven't seen anyone talk about mass prototypes armed with autothrusters, so with that in mind...

Here are some lists I've considering trying out:

Full on Thrustin' A-Swarm:

5x Proto + Refit + Autothrusters

1x Proto + Refit

Super Slap Fight Redux:

4x Proto + Refit + Autothrusters

1x Eaden Vrill

Horny, Thrustin' A's:

3x Proto + Refit + Autothrusters

Corran Horn + R2-D2 + Shield + PTL + FCS (or other Big Horn build)

or swap Corran for a 49 point turret (Falcon or HLC Outrider)

Rebel Swarm Redux:

2x Proto + Refit + Autothrusters

3x Blue Squadron

or swap out one Blue for a Gold + R3-A2 + Autoblaster Turret.

Thoughts? Obviously any of these A swarms are going to be a bane to a turret list but can they hold up against other lists do you think?

I was considering bringing an A-Wing list to the next Store Championships in my area.

I was looking at 3 Greens with PTL and trying to find a nice hammer to fly with their scissors.

66pts = 3 x Green + PTL + Autothrusters + Refit

Which leaves me 34 points to work with... Here are some options I was considering:

• Keyan + SOT + AdvS
• 2 x Bandit + Homing Missiles
• Leebo
• Eden Vrill + 2 pts (Jan Ors?)

I don't like having nothing but 2 attack ships though, so I tend to favor Keyan here.

Other random builds I'd like to try out paired with A-Wings:

• 36pts: Horton Salm + R2D6 + VI + EU + ICT
• 37pts: Luke + VI + R2D2 + EU
• 38pts: Wedge + VI + R2D2 + EU
