No, three turns is ridiculous. Every game I've played is just getting started by turn 3. I absolutely loathe the concept of turn-limited games, and I'm not that keen on time-limited games either. Play until you get a conclusive decision. If it takes a couple of hours, I can't see how that's a bad thing if both players are still enjoying it. And the games that have gone for a couple of hours have been awesome. Every casual game I play with the guys in our group, ignores the clock. We play until there's a winner - plain and simple.

I do like the idea of playing until there is a winner. But that is not really feasible in a tournament eg if all 5 or 6 games went for 2 hours. And also I think one of the reasons people got into xwing was the time needed for a game. Not like certain other ones that can take so much longer and even have turn limits.

As for a max turn limit nope I'm against it also. As for a turn min I don't think we need one either. All we need are TO's who can make a common sense decision that most of us will agree with. Luckily, as far as I've seen, these decisions are rare. I've only seen one case where one had to be made.

What about vassel has anyone had a very long time-wise game. Or a very short turn wise one?
