Anyone else have a 300 point Scum VS Rebels VS Imperials planned for when they finally hit the stores? My 300 point scum list looks like

IG-88A/B/C and D

IG2000

PTL

Flechette cannons

Mangler cannons

Autothrusters

Sensor jammer

Inertial dampeners

Syndicate thug X 2

Autoblaster turret

Unhinged astromech

Torkil Mux

Autoblaster turret

Serissu

Squad leader

Hull upgrade

Heavy "scyk" interceptor

Flechette cannons

Any ideas on this are welcome

Okay. Sorry I just wanted to say that.

Serissu seems more useful in a group. Not sure without real practice how much she will be able to help the other ships. Also I really don't see a necessity for her.

Two cannons are useless as you only really ever get to fire one. That is an incredible amount of points sunk.

Auto blaster turrets don't seem to be better than ion cannon turrets ATM.

4 points of inertial dampeners also unnecessary. You have plenty of mobility already. You're paying for options that you can't use all at once.

To be fair I only have serissu as filler till I playtest it and figure something else out, the cannons, there have been a few times playing b-wings that I have wished I had chosen a different cannon, so having multiple appeals to me as far as choice, odds are I'll end up taking off the dampeners and the current two options to put ion and autoblaster cannons on it, would also take off heavy scyk and cannons from Serissu

Alrighteous. Time for the 4 IG breakdown that I ignored in my last IG synergy thread.

ABCD:

A really wants HLC, while B really wants a range 1 option as well.

C also wants that range 1 option, as you'll be boosting into it fairly often. C also requires that you do not use your only action offensively, excepting when it is better than boosting AND evading.

With Advanced Sensors, C, and D, you're fairly likely to whip around quite fantastically, so you might be winding up with Range 2-3 instead.

My solution?

IG-88 [A+B+C+D]

+ HLC

+ Autoblaster

+ Predator

+ Advanced Sensors

+ IG-2000 title

+ Hot-Shot Blaster

57 points each, leaving you with 72 points left for other ships.

For team epic, you can lose the Autoblaster and Hot-Shot Blaster to pick up an Inertial Dampener, for exactly 50 points/ship

9 syndicate thugs with R4 agro and blaster turret

Kavil with R4 and blaster turret

Everyone gets a prox mine

Add in some torps of your preference.

It'll be like B-24s in the raid on polesti !

10 Y swarm with range 2 bubble 360 arc and 3 dice with TL. you can swap a couple out for ion if you want to.

IG88s certainly feel like a "the more, the merrier" option, yeah. I think an argument could be made that a single one isn't worth the points, in fact.

I really don't get why everyone ignore the combo of Auto-Blaster + Accuracy Corrector, that range 1 with 2-3 sure hits can kick a door if you got 4 ships that can do it per turn if they focus a ship, even on HLC if you roll bad and get less than 2 hits you can get 2 dices anyway.

Cuz you have to R1 and most ships get a free die at R1 anyway, putting their average attack value higher than 2. FOR FREE. instead of 7 points.

3dice F = 2.25

4 dice naked = 2

Honestly though, looks like a decent combo to try on a ship with cannon and system.

The thing I see is with over 200 points invested into 4 effectively identical ships, shouldn't the rest of your list be built around mitigating their weaknesses? Evil Roark with ion cannon turret comes to mind (or just a heavy control element in general) so you can kind of "fix" their ps 6 to get the most use from the manouverability granted by C and D. A few cheap blockers to get the numbers up could be good too.

4 dices naked = 2 is indeed true, however those 2 rolls or even 4 rolls can be blocked with Evade tokens or just good defense rolls unlike the 3 dices rolls.

There are 3 possible states:

You roll 3 hits = 3 sure hits on your target

You roll 2 hits = 2 sure hits on your target

You roll 1 hit or all blanks = you use Accuracy Corrector and get 2 sure hits
