Oh yes.. FFG is begging on its knees for this boat to be modded plenty of room for lighting. Nice hard points for turret upgrades.

Have to admit seeing it in the case sucked on the engine but seeing the comparison outside case.. I would have to be sold.

I'm really curious about what the dimensions of that bad boy are. I'm assuming it's the same length as the CR-90, since they are both 150m. Looks like it should fit just fine in 12" x 15.5" battlefoam like the CR-90.

In regard to the raider, I think this would benefit from having an airbrush and brushing on an engine glow on the center engine. It just looks too... empty.

I'm not s huge fan of the big grey plastic engine. Like they should of colored it blue white or something. It's almost begging people to paint it something.

I always thought this ship was pretty, but now I'm confirmed in my belief that it's truly a thing of beauty.

As for the engine (s), what it really needs is a blue-white LED bulb for each. You should be pretty well blinded looking directly into the exhaust for that main thruster.

Scoop out the the eyes, put a couple of LED's in.

Maybe paint the sideburns.

Finish off with a couple of fangs.

Clear casting resin.

Remove the engine. Cut out the backing. Replace backing with silicon. Tilt upright. Pour in resin. Profit.

This model is also begging to get fiber optic lighting too.

I can't wait to see a Raider in action. It would be cool/aggravating/take forever to destroy one flanked by a couple of Decimators. Now those Corvettes have someone to trade broadsides with at R5 though! Super stoked for that too.
