so as the title suggests, with this setup could I perform a focus and evade action with PTL then trigger jan ors for use on the falcon? Jan ors ability says when a friendly ship at range 1-3 performs a focus action or would be assigned a focus token you may assign an evade token instead. According to the rules you can be at range of yourself and jans ability doesn't say "another friendly ship" it just says "friendly ship" so I'm going to say this combo would work to give you 2 evade tokens plus c3po's ability to use to mitigate damage. Just wanted to check to make sure tho.

I ran that in my list at a tourney with leebo. only i put jan on leebo with hlc and outrider title. Then i put kyle on falcon so when i removed the stress i got a focus which i turned into an evade took and evade then ptl for a focus or target lock. I did well vs swarms by keeping the falcon between the swarm and leebo and just pulling them to my side of the board gl with your game. my only losses at the tournament were to the guy who placed second in regionals for my area last year and his friend who beat him at the last store championship both were good games though.

Interesting, I was thinking of using a blue, prototype w/chardaan and a z95 with Chewie as escorts that way I've got multiple attacks happening. Just curious what he guy who beat you ran on his list? Was it multiple high hp high attack ships like bwings or firesprays? The reason I ask is because you said you used Chewie and leebo so that's only 2 attacks per round. Granted they are 3-4 dice attacks but still just curious if maybe that Chewie setup and 3 escorts would do better? Might struggle vs swarms tho since with your setup you could pop a tie from long range with hlc whereas I would need to be in close.

swarms werent a problem i was able to take out 1 tie/zn5/xwing guarranteed every round sometimes 2 if i already had damage on them. the list i lost to was running e-wing the one with double attack ptl and rd-d2 he had a similar set up on the falcon only ran han instead of chewie leebo and his falcon took each other out. My falcon and his e-wing were full health and because he had r2d2 whenever he took damage he would just get out of dodge until his shield regend then come back into the at full health in a 75 minute game he slowly took my health down on the falcon because when he did swoop in for an attack he would attack twice that round using up all of my evade tokens and c3po on the first attack usually then second i had nothing to block with.

I would have been able to stall for time in our match if i had made a few better decisions he won with 8 minutes left on the clock. If i had lasted those 8 minutes i would have recieved a modified win.

The only b-wing list that really did well in our tourney was the new panic attack list with 3 bwings and 1 ywing tactician on all the bwings and flechet with and ion on the ywing i think. I beat that list my very first match of the tourney it was hard but because i had kyle c3po and jan it didnt really matter if they gave me stress on the falcon because i still got at least 1 evade or focus token a round and they were unable to stress leebo because with the panic attack list you have to run low ps bwings so after tehy move leebo would move then if necessary barrel role to range 3.
