We are remoddeling the living room. Way more shelf space etc, glad my wife has allowed me a shelf to host these things on. For that even if don't use it looks awesome even just as an display piece.

I like the little interceptor-esque panels and have done since the first spoiler, though.

I tend to think that if they had a completely unannounced ship in the case, whoever took these pictures might have thought it interesting enough news to grab a better shot that that. But who knows...

I'm pretty sure that an engine that big qualifies as a rear arc for the Raider.

At least we know why the TIE wings exist, to provide some extra power for that.

Depending in the new canon, maybe. The old legends EU the wings on a TIE fighter were solar panels.

Either way, whether solar panals or heat dissipation, the 'wings' will help with that enormous engine.

Seems like a worthy counterpart to the CR-90 to me. Instead of a huge engine bank, there is only one engine. Instead of a hammer, this one is a spike.

Gotta love that engine cluster.

This is a huge jump for FFG ; and a great anticipated addition for Epic play...I thought it odd that the Tie advanced was nott in the case...It would have been nice to really feel the magnitude of the scale...My guess is that they wanted all attention to be on this malevolent ship...Kudos to Hexis for taking the time to make our wallets moan in agony ounce again...I am going to need a bigger garage lol...

Looks like almost the same basic profile as the CR90. Same length, thick at the back, thin at the front, this ones just a little wider in the middle.

The next case over has all the scum ships in it. The big mass in the picture beyond them is, I think, just a reflection or distorted image of something outside of the display cases and no thing to do with x-wing.

I'm not so sure. The Tie Advanced model should've been in there looking at the display scheme with the scum sitting right next to it. And the image has a lot of solidity to it for just glare. Profile lines up somewhat. It just might be. The color is the thing that is throwing me off. Too much brown.

There's no attribution, but a poster named Hexis has a very nice camera, lives in Minneapolis-St. Paul, and has taken pictures like this for every wave. FFG held a store Championship tournament at their Event Center yesterday, so my hypothesis is that these are pictures of a model they have on display there.
