Whelp, I was wondering around my local B&N book store and what do stumble across? Two friggin' Millennium Falcons!!! Bought 'em both right up, one for me and the other for a buddy of mine (couldn't be greedy, note could I?). Needless to say I was quite pleased as I got into X-Wing well after the ship had become a serious commodity.

It would seem that B&N get more of a priority over the LGS getting restocks :-(

Yet the LGS is expected to be dutiful citizens to apply for events, while they're shelves remain loaded with TIE Bombers.

Barnes and Noble must have a warehouse full of stuff. Mine now has interceptors and a-wings on the shelf. I don't think there supply is coming from FFG, I think it's there own stock.

You DO get the discount for kid's club stuff and when you buy a certain amount (100 bucks?) you get a 5 dollar gift card.

Chain retail stores have centralized warehouses that they pull stock from. So they are consistently able to restock themselves. Right now B&N is the only hope for the rarer ships which is truly a shame.

Just got a Slave 1, an A-Wing, and a TIE Fighter off the B&N website. all 10% off, Free shipping, and I found a "20% off one item" coupon that I was able to use.

All in all, it was a pretty great deal.

I think that B&N buy in bulk and release stuff whenever they feel like it. So I have often picked up some harder to find ships there. My son recently picked up a Falcon for himself there.

Just went to my local BN, nice mix of ships, including an A wing, but the one ship i wanted, a Y-wing they didnt have... figures

I'm just happy that the B&N website had Rebel Aces for sale. I checked every brick and mortar I could find for that, but turned up empty. Even Amazon was charging $50 for it. Was able to get it on B&N for $26 after shipping.
