Upgrade Categories

By megamen, in Star Wars: Armada

So I was looking at the ship cards and noticed there are, as far as I can see, three personnel categories and five ship upgrade categories.

We have seen upgrade cards for every personnel slot and it looks like three of the five ship upgrades (ion cannon, turbolaser and missiles).

What do you think the two remaining categories are? (second and third from right on AF2)

My thoughts :

Roundish one is some sort of shield mod slot. But it is only available on the CR90 and the AF2

Triple guns that look like they are farting... Some sort of ultra heavy weapon system?

What are your thoughts?

Sensors upgrade?

It matches the expanded hanger and what looks to be a point defense upgrade.

You beat me to it.

The orb symbol has an upgrade that starts with advanced in the AF2 expansion. Definitely looks like a shields slot.

The partial card we can see in the AFII expansion picture also talks about when using the shield redirect icon and hull damage, so definitely looks to be some sort of damage mitigation/shielding card.

The other one looks to be Point defence refit? When something squadrons something you may something...

(roll red dice instead of blue?) :D

In reference to the new title cards, the Victory expansion article says "These cards greatly expand the range of possible synergies you’ll be able to develop within your fleet, as do the expansion’s eleven other crew members, teams, hangar bays, and armaments ." However, as noted, there are more than four upgrade symbols represented on the cards we've seen so far, but at least that gives us a broad list of categories.

There seems to be a card for those top two ear things on the Imperial Class SD. Not sure what its called or what it stands for.
