Brilliant job!
I want a slicing supplement from the amazing Kainrath. Seriously, is there anything you can't do?
Excellent work!
As a suggestion, I'd recommend taking a cue from the typesetting in the FFG material and not using the "Jedi" Star Wars title font as a title font inside your document.
The iconic "Star Wars"-style title font is best used for a single, big title, rather than for labels of maps or character names. If you notice, none of the FFG material uses the "Star Wars"-style title font as internal titles. They label their maps and chapter headings and NPC names with a simpler font.
Anyway, great job, very useful stuff!

hmmmm...there's a mouse in my head that just started feverishly running upon his wheel...
hopefully FFG will address that when they get around doing a sourcebook for Technicians...

I will take this into consideration...thanks for the feedback!
Very nice work, both to Kainrath and BlindGeekUK.

I agree with progressions, there are some other good fan supplements out there, the most well done ones are "Speculative Trading" and "Organisations" by GM Hooly.
Edited by EbakDid... did you really just re-release a handful of my maps without offering credit (or even asking)? Pretty weak.

I’m curious — which ones are yours? I know that Kainrath has had the Spaceport Control map on his site at https://kainrath.wordpress.com/2014/05/09/mos-shuuta-spaceport-control/ since middle of last year, and I see others on that blog that were also reproduced.
So which ones were used without your permission?

There are several maps in there that are FFGs, and I've obviously got no quibble with them. The couple that aren't (the junk shop and the warehouse) are part of my Tatooine set on my site ( http://thompsonpeters.com/eote/maps/ ).
just updated the file to include credit for Maveritchell's two maps...

Thanks! Downloading in 3 .. 2 .. 1
Yes Kainrath should have asked permission...but it was also very bad form of you Maveritchell to bring the matter up publically and not privately with him.

The only reason you call someone out on something like this publicly is so that it gets attention. Not crediting artists is a big deal, and it happens all the time. Kainrath did the right thing, and that ball's no longer in his court, but the tendency to ignore accreditation is something work talking about publicly.
(By the way, if I shouldn't bring issues of bad manners up publicly, what are you doing?)
Very nice! I just started a new campaign today, and the PCs began in Mos Shuuta. Wish I had seen this earlier!
Shouldn't womprats be larger than what you've got in their description? Luke says they are not much larger than the Deathstar exhaust port, which was stated as being 2 meters. So they'd be like, I dunno, 7 feet long/big?

Agreed 1000%. Unfortunately I am at the end of my quota for “likes” for the day, so I literally cannot “like” this post enough.

Well, almost. He should have asked permission first. However, in his defense, it is entirely possible that he downloaded that stuff a long time ago (like sometime back in 2013), and completely forgot where he had gotten it from. In that case, he should have posted to this forum and asked if anyone knew where certain files had come from.
In any event, he has given you credit, although I did note that your copyright mark on the images themselves seems to have been removed. It would be good to re-instate that, unless he’s got an agreement with you otherwise.
At this point, unless something goes wrong and we see more information on this subject, I’m going to assume that the two of you are working out in private whatever details need to be worked out.
But please do let us know if you see any other violations of copyright or trademark, regardless of the source or subject.
As an author, I know that you are particularly sensitive to this matter, and so I depend on you (and other authors) to help keep the rest of us informed on important matters like these.
Thanks!
Great work on the supplement. Lots of fun. I wonder what a colonist game centered around this city when/if Teemo is dealt with would look like?
Fighting off other Hutts that have a claim.
Stopping the Empire from taking over.
Finding a way to make the town a better place to live.
Could be lots of fun.
Dude, that is awesome! I've got a slightly more expanded version of my articles kicking around, and was pondering doing it into a book, but I lack the skills, so I appreciate the effort
Nice! Thanks for that.
I've passed on my latest working document to Kainrath to have a look at and potentially layout in his awesome style. It brings the total number of mesa locations up to 53, gives you plenty of npcs to interact with, adventure hooks, and places to visit in the wider area. I've still got a handful of npc’s to flesh out and stat up
Where did the plateau art on the cover come from? I've been to Masada and it looks very similar to the Mos Shuuta plateau. Just wondering if the realworld location inspired it.

Jericho0ne did the plateau art
Awesome, thank you very much!
Is there still any interest in this? I've been adding some more stuff to it for my own use, and have asked Kainrath if he would lay it out in a format suitable for both download and print on demand.
