The idea could be crazy or...

Hi!

Was sitting down with a squad builder and just clicking around. Came up with this:

Sigma Squadron Pilot (25)
Intelligence Agent (1)
Advanced Cloaking Device (4)
Sigma Squadron Pilot (25)
Intelligence Agent (1)
Advanced Cloaking Device (4)
Patrol Leader (40)
Total: 100

I don't know if it would work but it just might. I'm guessing that the other player would go after the sigmas first, leaving the Patrol Leader to do its thing. IA will help with those hard cloak or not cloak decisions. The damage output on the sigmas is of course amazing but so is their ability to get out of arcs.

My feeling is that it will be very hard to consistently go after 1 target, forcing the opponent to chane target some rounds and that way spreading out the damage, keeping more ships alive for a longer time.

What do you think? Does it hold any merit?

I'd consider drooping the ACD's down to Stygium's. That would give you enough points to put Vader on the Decimator and have a one point initiative bid.

Dropping ACD would make it harder to change tactic on a fly with the info from IA. Doominators are always nice thou (=

Acd Is pretty much wasted on the non unique phantoms as you will more than likely shoot after others so u don't get all the benefits from it, personally id go after the decimator everytime it's easy to catch n blast so freeing up points to make it move survivable is always a gd thing imho,

Rebel captive would b my choice, stress makes it easier for phantoms to hunt, or I'd put FCS on the phantoms so they can dish out more damage
