Too Many Huge Ship Damage Cards

I haven't played Epic very much, but I suspect that's about to change.

Especially with the Imperial Raider coming out.

But while going through the Rebel Damage Deck, I counted over 19 different cards spread across 4 damage decks. Only 6 cards were duplicated among the 4 decks. Throw in the standard damage deck and that's a lot of stuff to remember.

And with the Imperial Raider, does this mean there will be even more unique Huge Ship damage cards?

If you're running multiple huge ships, this seems like it could get really complicated.

What's your experience?

The damage decks are customized to the different ships. Yes, it will be difficult to remember them all. That's why you can read the cards.

I like the unique damage decks. Gives the game some decent flavor. I don't see the Raider having a damage deck all that different from the CR90, though. They just have to swap the location of a few crits (like which section the bridge/copilot slots are located on) to match. I kind of wish there were more damage decks in the base game. Like, a second deck for large ships with different crits.

It's an Imperial ship. If the aft section doesn't have critical hits relating to destroyed shield towers, there will be riots at GenCon.

Unless they want a riot.. in that case not leaving it has everything "unfolding as they have foreseen.."

Along those lines: we can all agree that Arvel gets errataed to always deal 2 crits when ramming an opposing Huge ship, right? I mean: in addition to his regular power.
