But they changed it to 2nd Quarter.

Don't care, still hyped.

At the end of January with it not even at the printers, did you really expect it by the end of March?

it's not going to be ready for store championships here

Raider In March... start the chant!

March, March, March!!!

So, if you follow FFG's guidelines for time length on these things....and you use the maximum time for each section, what kind of date are we looking at for this?

I'm just ready to fly 4 Tie Advanced for the rest of my life.

A date before 2016 for sure.

Though when FFG gives a quarter, it's usually estimated for the end of that quarter, and given shipping delays and all that are inevitable, it's usually best to add two to three months to that. So, potentially August (which would be great for me since it's my birthday then. Not so great part: Waiting til August.)

Then again, maybe I'm just being overly pessimistic, and it will actually come by June. Probably summer either way.

Last year they pushed realll hard to get the GR-75 Transport out 4 days before Regionals started so it would qualify for the Regional events (well, the X wing pilots, droids, and Flechettes would at least). I wouldn't be surprised if they're targeting the same "get it out before regionals" time frame, even if that means that they airlift a small supply over first to have it "available" prior to regionals.

I'm absolutely certain it will be here by the end of July, since they won't want to miss the opportunity to sell Raiders to the slavering GenCon crowds. But I'm hoping the move from Q1 to Q2 means it'll be available near the start of Q2, rather than indicating a full three-month delay.

Optimist. ;)

Well, at the printer isn't huge news...because it's gonna sit there for a lifetime, and then be on the boat for another. so maybe my grandchildren will be able to fly a functional TIE Advanced

I need one more Tie Advanced (after the one in the Raider) to make 4. I've had 2 since Wave 1 and have tried to use them. I do like Vader, though. The new ones will be fantastic.

I'm also looking forward to some Epic fights between capital ships, too.

They could also do what they did with wave 5...airlift some in for gencon to sell so that it starts percolating through the community...and then people can complain about the unfairness that some have them while they don't and speculate that ffg is purposely holding the.shipment back for some reason. And then I get to talk about how international maritme logistics work again!! :-)

IM just as stoked for this thing as everyone else..maybe even moreso...and I will be a very happy camper when it gets into my hands.

I'll wait until Miniature Market is selling them at half price. Worked for the CR-90! :)

Plus, I won't feel bad about cutting up a model I paid half as much for to put lights in it.

April/May sounds about right. The actual announcement (and when they went on the upcoming list) of the Epics happened around when the Raider was announced. It likely won't be at the printers as long, because I don't think they need to print as much as they need to do with an actual wave or Aces type pack.

I think they print fewer units--at least, I'm sure they expect to sell fewer units at $100 MSRP than they do at $15 or $40--but judging by the card fan there's a lot more to print for each individual unit. I'm not sure where the overall balance lies.

August would be great - that's my birthday too! But if it came out sooner I wouldn't be able to wait, not with ll those X1s onboard!

I hope it is out, with scum, by July. I plan to have it for my birthday.

Just once, I'd like to see a big Imperial only release in March.

Just saw some photos of it from the one displayed at FFG event center. Looks great, hopefully they'll post them here soon.

I chuckled

It doesn't matter for me when it comes out. The wife has told me I can't have it till Christmas

Maybe it will come out on May 4th?
