Do we have stats for the named Bounty Hunters?

I know we've got Lando, and there are some brilliant challenges coming up to stat out characters, but I'm also wondering if somoene out there decided to take a crack at the infamous Six.

One thought was to have the Party actually assist Bobba Fett as cannon fodder hired hands for a particularly deadly bounty. Could be neat.

Another is to maybe in future have the party cross paths with Dengar on an unrelated assignment and have them meet- either as allies or foes.

Quite simply, we don't, and Lando's stats in The Jewel of Yavin only exist as a representation and not his actual abilities. Canon characters are hard to do right because they either have to end up quite overpowered or they lack the players expectations of the character. Its why whenever any canon character shows up in my game, its generally a roleplay scenario and rarely are any dice rolled.

You also have to worry about the players deciding to have a big of a lark and say 'Great, now that we've knocked out farmboy Luke Skywalker, I want to take my blaster pistol and shoot him in the head! Haha! I've messed up canon, look at how cool I am!'

That being said, the one way you could do it, is handicap the character, make him stand by thinking the work is beneath him and then have him tank in if the players need saving. Or build him to be the same level as your PCs. Remember. the PC's are the star of the show, they should not be shown up by someone else unless it suits a purpose.

My group were once captured by Boba Fett because of Obligation they had. I generally also roleplayed that where they did not have a chance at all and were all knocked unconscious by his various tools.

Rescue at Glare Peak (Rebellion Day Adventure) also did this where *SPOILERS* If the players failed in their mission, Darth Vader showed up and the book says that Vader has no stats, merely describe in detail how your players are systematically killed or captured with no hope of survival/escape.

I hesitate to put named characters in any situations where their stats are important.

No kidding, what's up with that? I can never tell if they want me to switch to an infinities off the rails timeline, or just end the game because they "won."

Bahahahahahahahaha!

That's horrible, but such a hilarious counter point to my previous. "Ok, you failed your mission. Darth Vader shows up and hunts you down and kills you like Jason Voorhees hunting a bunch of fornicating college students. The End."

My players really don't have a reason to roll up and Shoot Vader. Point of fact, I just name-dropped Han as some Correllian smuggler that is going to participate in their starship race (this is three years ABY, so he's nobody special yet). They expect that he win (he won't, per a scripted event) but nobody's hopping on the chance to run up and shoot Han in the head. Besides, I can keep moving the set-pieces so they never see Han anyway.

As for these bounty hunters, for a player party that isn't developed yet (We're in session 4 or so, around 50xp?) they will not be in a position to challenge as I imagine a nemesis-level adversary packing serious weapons and adversary 2-3, not to mention the fear check that would go into it before they even consider taking on one of the infamous six.

I do understand that "A full profile goes beyond the scope of the game" and I support that idea. But like waving the Lando cut-out around to do special things around cloud city, I wanted to know if someone statted up the Bounty hunters to use in a similar situation for combat and negotiation. Guess not?
