Is it just me or are some of you guys checking this thread every other hour for any actual hard piece of evidence with a specific date?

I notice The War Store lists it as in stock. Everything else is still preorder, but they show the core game as in stock and "ships next day." Did anyone order from them?

Looks like the distributor has got something, however they told me not to get my hopes up on it shipping soon. Sounds like an issue with the distributor not getting their full shipment. Maybe that other thread has a shred of credibility, if so apologies might be in order...

This does not surprise me. I think FFG sent what was unloaded out to hit release around the world. Remainder of distributor orders will be in April, with wave 1 (hence hange to on the boat for wave 1)

Well, TheWarStore is on Long Island,NY. So Maybe there's hope yet. Unless they use an international distributer...

We are hoping to have those in at some point this month, but we haven't received a shipping confirmation quite yet. They should be in by the beginning of quarter 2 at the latest. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

I don't play very many video games anymore, and especially not at release day... but FFG has made me dearly miss release dates with Armada.

Release quarters are just... yeah. "Somewhere within these three months and maybe not even then" has been painful. A date and ensuing delays would have been much easier to swallow.

I still think it would be very interesting to follow the Armada production story from FFG's standpoint from that first demo copy they brought to GenCon and then through the fall, winter and up to the hopefully soon spring release. Just to see what their expectations were along the way versus what was actually happening... I know if I had made this game, I would be getting antsy that it still wasn't on people's tables and we are now only a couple weeks away from April. From the outsider perspective, it just seems like not much has gone their way - from the fact that we are still kind of unsure going on 7ish months from GenCon, to that hope to release Wave One simultaneously with the core game, to the West coast port problems, to time slipping quickly into Q2... It would probably be a pretty okay story if they were ever to divulge such things.

If you go back and look at FFG's news section, you can track when they announced a product and how much time elapsed before they announced availability. I looked at nine x-wing releases and averaged elapsed time. It came to an average of 6.04 months. Right now Armada is slightly over 7 months 6 days from announcement and counting? The really frustrating part is that if I ye that average I won't see wave I or my imperial raider until May and June respectively? I wonder if they shouldn't start announcing these things 90 days out instead of 180.

Is this including Wave 1? At this point I'm very concerned that my order won't be fulfilled by MM until wave 1 items are in as well.
