In the past they've done fairly well updating that page, however recently (especially with Imperial Assault) they have gotten a bit lax about it, so it really could either be that Wave 1 is still months away, or it could be shipping now and the page simply hasn't been updated. No way to tell until its actually here.
Bets on the Release Date
I want it to be March 31st, but I'm thinking it will be more like the week of April 5th-11th. The expansions will follow the week after.

Been keeping an eye on recent shipping times... I have no idea if these are coming from the same place or not, but the Xwing Falcon and Slave were put "on the boat" 12/16/14. They "shipped" 3/2/15. And MM reported recieving stock this morning (3/11/15).
Armada Dice went "on the boat" 1/15/15 and Armada Core went 2/12/15. So... dice begining of April, core begining May? Of course these could be made in completey different places, going through different ports, etc.

As far as I'm concerned, the only important date is the release date, on which it appears on the shelves.

Product is at the printers according to FFG Upcoming status. Let's say it's done at the printers January 1. In working days add:
- 3 days truck to port
- 5-12 days to clear customs and load on the ship unless someone is expediting
- 10-20 days ocean freight
- 5-10 days to offload and clear customs in US (assuming US dock slowdown is over)
- 5 days to distribute to US channel
50 working days if you accept printing is done 1/1 and you take worst case number of days.That places the release date at March 12th.
They've been saying 1st Qtr 2015 for release so a March release would meet that guidance.
I did get an order shipping notification from Miniature Market on 3/11 and was excited that it was Armada. The email only showed an order number so I hurry up and check the order description and it's D&D Dice Masters starter and gravity feed and more FFG card sleeves. I just happen to have a game group going this weekend for Axis and Allies 1942 and introducing 4 new players to X-Wing and for a few seconds I thought I'd be playing Armada this weekend instead!

That's true, but I think that the marginal difference (within the US, at least) is a day or two. I'm only going by my experience of the release of X-Wing waves, so this may vary. X-Wing waves need to be timed because of permissible ships/upgrades in tournaments, which we won't have with Armada's first release, but I'm sure they'll have other reasons to keep the release date tight, even if unknown until it happens.
