Played a team game with my buddy's wife as a partner against him and another buddy... Napoleon's reaction pretty much sums up our partnership, everytime she planned her movement or action I was like "are you sure about that" and believe me she isn't one to take feedback well haha.

Hardly surprising, isn't it? If my "partner" in a 2-player game was second-guessing everything I was doing I'd take it rather poorly too. If you don't want to play a team game, don't. If you do, realize that teams of 2 don't need a team captain.

Maybe you're new to tabletop miniature games but I can assure you feedback is for after the game, not during. Giving feedback and criticism during a game just leads to more frustration for the person you think needs it.

Resolving to not have any fun by making things as difficult as possible for everyone no matter which way others attempt to help assures that the wage earned for enduring an hour of something she doesn't want to do is that she will never be asked, begged, pleaded, or pestered to do it ever again. Even by losing, she wins.
